I am well-versed in psychology research design, methods, and analysis, as well as APA writing. My services include assistance with studying and exam prep, introduction of new concepts as requested, research brainstorming and guidance, and editing papers.

I have an undergraduate degree in psychology from Swarthmore College, where I studied all of the aforementioned fields, while also participating in lab research and completing a semester abroad in a clinical psychology intensive in Copenhagen.

Psychology is my primary educational passion, and I love to share my knowledge and discuss it with others just as much as I enjoy learning! I view tutoring as a collaborative, two-way process, wherein I center discussion rather than simply telling a student what to do. I try to put forth more leading questions than explicit answers so as to empower students to problem-solve and come to their own conclusions with me as a guide. I balance encouragement with constructive feedback so as to validate students and meet them where they are at while also providing challenge and comfort zone expansion. I work to create a low-stress and lighthearted teaching environment in which students can feel comfortable asking me questions, sharing successes and setbacks, and, most importantly, expressing their authentic selves. Throughout my years of tutoring, I have always found that I learn just as much from my students as they do from me; I genuinely enjoy and look forward to this work, and I am thrilled at the prospect of working with new students.
