I offer flexible classes based on the interests of the individual student. My own experience as a student has shown me that Geography covers a vast range of topics. My degree covered both physical and human geography but my own preference as a student is human geography. I have knowledge and experience of Wildlife; opportunities to raise awareness of current threats and way to make positive changes to help nature.

I am happy to make a topic plan with parents and students. Regular homework activities will be set to allow students to find more information and develop their own interests within this interesting subject.

I am a graduate university student who, in addition to her own company, has the time and energy to teach children (in both primary and secondary school) and adults in Geography. I have always been interested in geography and I finished the course with a 9. I would like to convey my enthusiasm to children, young people and possibly adults who do not experience the profession as much. I am a social girl and I get on well with people and the difficulties they may experience (such as disappointment or uncertainty due to less good results) due to the fact that certain subjects / disciplines are not going well. I want to teach online in a positive, fun and interactive way so that they actually master the profession while having fun.

Ik geef les in verschillende vakken op verschillende niveaus voor middelbare scholieren. Mijn doel is om het voor scholieren makkelijker te maken om de lesstof te begrijpen en ze te motiveren om het beste uit zichzelf te halen.

Als leerling kan je zelf aangeven waar je uitleg over wilt hebben. Hoe eerder je dit aangeeft hoe beter ik een les kan voorbereiden en dus ook hoe meer jij aan de les gaat hebben.

Ik ben Sofia en geef al heel veel jaren met plezier bijles en huiswerkbegeleiding aan leerlingen van verschillende middelbare niveaus (ook online!). Heeft u(w kind) structurele hulp nodig, hulp met de proefwerkweek, zijn er examens niet gehaald of moet er in de zomervakantie wat worden bijgespijkerd? Wellicht kan ik helpen! Stuur me vrijblijvend een bericht en vertel me om welke vakken het zal gaan+niveau. Dan kunnen we afstemmen wat er nodig is en/of waar ik kan helpen.

Over mezelf: Naast mijn huidige werk geef ik bijles, omdat ik merk dat ik er veel leerlingen mee help en dit mij plezier geeft. Zelf heb ik altijd gestudeerd (nog steeds vind ik het leuk om studies naast mijn werk te doen) en 8 jaar terug alweer heb ik een Master behaald aan de Universiteit van Leiden. In this module I tutor in biology on a middle school to high school to college level, depending on what is required by the student. The possibilities vary from simple lessons about basic concepts all the way to the topics needed to pass ''end exams'' like the SAT, GCSE, MCAT and International Baccalaureate.

I've attended the British School in the Netherlands and have completed both my GCSE's and the IB. During my GCSE's I took separate sciences, spanish, english literature, maths, drama and geography with grades ranging from 6-9.

In IB I took higher level english literature, geography, spanish and standard level maths applications and interpretations, psychology and biology. Ik heb ruime ervaring met het geven van bijles en het begeleiden van leerlingen bij verschillende organisaties. In de afgelopen jaren heb ik gewerkt met leerlingen van uiteenlopende niveaus, waarbij ik heb gemerkt dat ik veel energie haal uit het uitleggen van lesstof en het vergroten van zelfvertrouwen bij leerlingen.

Mijn interesse en passie liggen vooral bij de vakken geschiedenis, aardrijkskunde en maatschappijleer/burgerschap. Ik vind het belangrijk om deze vakken niet alleen inhoudelijk duidelijk uit te leggen, maar ook te laten zien hoe ze aansluiten bij de actualiteit en de belevingswereld van leerlingen. In primary and secondary school, I had many friends who struggled with specific subjects, which I didn't. It also happened the other way around. It was great to be able to help each other with this. When that wasn't possible, we received tutoring from a great coach, and this helped us all pass our exams.

School can be frustrating, overwhelming, and overwhelming. Having the right person to help you through this and provide guidance can reduce a lot of stress. Besides tutoring, I'm also a Psychology student and could help with planning, fear of failure, ADD/ADHD, etc.
