El curso abarca guitarra clásica y guitarra eléctrica, así como guitarra pop y composición, ofreciendo una formación integral adaptada a los intereses del estudiante.

Al inicio, se realizará una evaluación del nivel, con el fin de identificar habilidades técnicas, conocimientos musicales y experiencia previa. A partir de esta evaluación, y tomando en cuenta las metas, objetivos y gustos musicales del alumno, se diseñará una metodología personalizada, orientada al desarrollo técnico, musical y creativo.

El enfoque del curso busca equilibrar técnica, interpretación, comprensión musical y expresión personal, permitiendo al estudiante avanzar de manera sólida y consciente, independientemente del estilo que desee profundizar.

Mexican guitarist and composer hailing from Umán, Yucatán. He began his formal guitar studies at the age of 15 at the State Center of Fine Arts in Yucatán. Graduating with honors, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Guitar Performance from the Faculty of Music at UNAM, studying classical guitar under Dr. Juan Carlos Laguna. Currently, he is pursuing a master's degree in Classical Guitar with Antigoni Goni and Jazz with Fabien Degryse at the prestigious Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel in Brussels, Belgium.

His remarkable achievements include numerous national and international awards, such as:

1st Place in the National Guitar Competition in Zapopan, Jalisco (2021)
1st Place in the 3rd Interpretation Contest of New Works organized by the "Panama Guitar Festival" (2022)
2nd Place in the international classical guitar competition "Agustín Barrios Guitar Competition" in Tübingen, Germany (2020)
2nd Place in the Thailand International Guitar Competition
3rd Place in the National Lutheria Loaiza Contest in Texcoco, State of Mexico
He has also participated in prestigious events like Berklee Latino and the Jazz Festival of the Superior School of Music UNAM.

As a composer, he was awarded the PECDA Yucatán 2023 scholarship for his project "7 Studies for Modern Yucatecan Guitar," a series of didactic compositions for concert guitar. He has performed at international festivals in Europe, including the International Guitar Festival in Tübingen, Germany, and the International Guitar Orchestra Festival (FIOGI) in Colombia.

Having had the privilege of teaching guitar across various platforms in Mexico, I've cultivated a rich and diverse teaching experience that spans private academies and individual lessons. My journey as a guitar instructor has been incredibly rewarding, marked by moments of growth, inspiration, and deep musical connection.

In private academies, I've had the opportunity to engage with students from all walks of life and musical backgrounds. Bonjour. J'ai terminé l'académie de musique en guitare classique (5 années de formation+ 5 années de qualification), il y a maintenant 7 ans. Pendant mon parcours musical, j'ai également suivi 2 années de cours de guitare d'accompagnement. Par après, j'ai joué dans un groupe folk pendant 6 ans et aussi 2 ans dans un groupe de guitare manouche. Grâce à toutes ces années de cours, j'ai acquis une très bonne maitrise musicale de la guitare. Je suis enchanté de pouvoir vous apprendre à en jouer que vous soyez débutant(e) ou plus avancé(e) dans l'apprentissage de la guitare.
Je peux vous proposer de suivre la méthode d'apprentissage que j'ai suivie moi-même ou que vous veniez avec les morceaux que vous voulez apprendre.

Have fun learning your favourite songs and playing guitar. We offer tailor-made online guitar lessons. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player. All lessons are customized to your skills and goals goals.

Lessons are centered around two principles:
1. Teaching the basics of guitar technique: reading notes/tabs, analysis of melody and harmony, ear training
2. An open approach focused on learning to play your favourite songs

Levels:
Beginners will first learn the basics, such as tuning, posture, basic technique, reading tablature, and playing elementary chords. After ten lessons you will be able to play basic chords and single-note melodies. You will already be able to play your favourite music!
If you are already a more advanced player we will work on improving specific technical and musical skills such as soloing, improving your sound, and learning genre-specific techniques.

Guitar Styles:
You can choose almost any music style you want to play: Pop, rock, jazz, blues, folk, country, flamenco, and classical.

Hello everyone,

Μy name is Marianna and I am a concert artist and guitar tutor. I have nurtured a profound love for classical guitar since my childhood and commenced my musical journey at the age of 10. After attending the National Conservatory of Athens, I graduated with the highest honours. Furthering my studies, I joined the Royal Brussels Conservatory, where I undertook the Bachelor of Music programme under the tutelage of Antigoni Goni.

Keen to explore different cultures and musical scenes, I opted to pursue further studies in Berlin, where I trained under Rainer Feldmann. Whilst studying at the Universität der Künste in Berlin, I cultivated a distinct passion for Baroque music and received tutelage in Baroque guitar and theorbo from Sam Chapman.

During my studies, I provided private guitar tutoring and also taught at a state music school in Berlin/Brandenburg for five years from September 2018 until August 2023. During this time, I created and oversaw a guitar class of more than 35 students of diverse ages and skill levels. To complement my teaching methodology, I formed three guitar ensembles, ranging from trios to quintets, which incorporated chamber music.

After at least twelve years of teaching guitar to several children and adults, I firmly believe that students should have hands-on experience with the instrument from their very first lesson, and at the same time be introduced to music theory.

I follow a method that emphasizes the development of critical basics in my students to enable them to comprehend music and the instrument through theory and solfeggio, utilizing scores instead of tablatures. Depending on the preferences of the student, we can explore a diverse range of repertoires, encompassing classical and folk genres, among others.

Throughout my teaching career, I have worked effectively and efficiently with learners of all ages and experience levels, from complete novices to those readying themselves for university-level assessments (such as Grade 8 ABRSM).

I am proficient in English, German, and Greek, and possess a rudimentary understanding of French.

My music studio is located in Saint Gilles, Brussels, and is open to all interested learners.

Je suis un excellent pédagogue, et je m'adapte au niveau de l'élève, que ce soit en termes de maîtrise technique de l'instrument, de capacités de lecture des notes (ou tablature), aussi bien que de compréhension du solfège et de la théorie. Je me mets au service de l'élève, de son niveau et de ses goûts et projets musicaux. J'ai une connaissance approfondie de la théorie musicale, particulièrement en jazz, et une longue expérience de jeu en ensemble (jazz, rock et metal progressif). Je peux ainsi fournir les éléments théoriques nécessaires pour que l'élève s'approprie pleinement son instrument, à son rythme, et soit capable de jouer en groupe, d'inventer des lignes de basse, d'improviser et de composer des morceaux.

La basse est l'instrument le plus important d'un ensemble musical, que ce soit dans le jazz, le rock, le blues, le funk, le metal ou la pop. Elle est le point de repère pour tous les autres musiciens, elle définit à la fois le rythme et l'harmonie, et elle fait littéralement vibrer les corps des auditeurs.

La trompette est un instrument formidable. Je propose donc d'initier celles.eux qui seraient intéressé.e.s ainsi qu'apporter mon aide aux personnes qui sont déjà familières de cet instrument. Cela fait 14 ans que je pratique cet instrument, dont 10 en conservatoire, et je ne m'en suis jamais lassé.

Ma façon d'enseigner est surtout basée sur la gestion de son souffle et le développement de son oreille musicale, avec des exercices de respiration, d'écoute, de technique etc.
Ainsi, ma méthode convient tout autant aux jeunes enfants ayant l'envie d'apprendre cet instrument, qu'aux personnes plus âgées.

Mon but est de faire progresser l'élève sans décourager ou surcharger de travail. Que l'envie d'apprendre perdure.

À l'appui, je peux prêter des manuels et partitions (même si je recommande vivement d'avoir les siens) ainsi qu'enseigner la lecture musicale.
