Hi! I am Nieves, an experienced Italian teacher. (Italian is my second language, I am Spanish).
In addition, I have official certificates and references of students I have had that I could provide you if asked. Currently, I am studying at the University and, during my free time, I work as a language teacher. During my classes I like to make the students to participate and interact with me. I am a great supporter of active learning, so during the classes we will use a lot of didactic material to read, write, talk and listen the language. I can teach people who do not have previous knowledge about the language or even medium-advanced learners. (I can teach from A1 to C1 level). Soy una profesora joven abierta, amable y trabajadora a la que le gusta hacer las clases de una manera divertida y dinámica. Además, siempre trato que las clases sean interactivas, interesantes y que tengan muchos ejercicios prácticos.
Italia es mi segundo hogar, por lo que no solo enseño el idioma, sino también la cultura, las expresiones nativas más utilizadas, su historia, etc. Me gusta preparar cuidadosamente cada clase según las necesidades de mis estudiantes y el enfoque que le quieran dar ellos mismos al idioma (ya que no es lo mismo un estudiante que quiera obtener un B1 en tres meses, u otro que quiera aprender italiano por placer).

after successfully obtaining my French Baccalauréat and a Bachelor's Degree in Cinema (Licence) with High Honors, I am currently working at the Institut Français in Duesseldorf, where I did a seminar to become examiner for the French DELF tests. I also work with schools and promote this language to a young public, and therefore developed a high pedagogical quality during this last year.

I am therefore ready to help you in all your needs with this language, which can be quite tough sometimes (think about pronounciation and exceptions to the rules), and which I struggled myself to learn before obtaining a high professional level.

If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.

My name is Chiara and I'm a qualified italian teacher for foreigners with a DITALS certification taken by the school "Leonardo da Vinci" in Florence. After having passed my exam, I have done an internship in the same school and then I have worked here for a while. During this experience, I had the possibility to work with people from all around the world offering them classes that matched their desires: from A1 to B2. Therefore, more than once I have helped my students to pass the CILS exam, in order to achieve the Italian citizenship.
