I design lesson content with a focus on student’s level, desired achievement and we start with what the student is confident about and build an abundance material and resources around it.

I include “drill phrases and grammar”then practices, role plays, games, free chat, quizzes and consolidation in a lesson.

As a result a lesson is highly functional and resourceful, a handout with bullet points is given a day or two prior the lesson so the student can work around it practice and get an idea of what we will do in lessons. After lessons a note is also produced by me and given to the student, I encourage good effort and points, and suggest a focused work on things that need working on, boosting confidence.

A qualified language coach with 25 years of experience offers intensive Dutch lessons in a small class or online.

I give many Dutch NT2 lessons to expats and in preparation for an integration exam.
Specialized in guiding for the State Exam I and II. Special exam coach.

In January 2025 I will also start with groups again. We have a great classroom in the center of Rotterdam, near metro station Beurs, lessons with small homogeneous groups (little difference in level).

We mainly go for quality and not just running a lesson. I am really involved in the progress of the student. In addition to teaching, I want to do everything to really motivate students to take the next step. That is my strength!

As soon as students want to further improve their knowledge of Dutch, I always advise and coach them to take the State Exam I or II, the only formal Certificate in this country, recognized by employers and universities.

I will try to switch to conversation after a few lessons, to put your knowledge into practice as soon as possible. Don't get too caught up in the grammar.

Teaching is my ultimate passion and even after 25 years it feels like the first time and students always feel inspired to overcome the obstacles.
