My teaching experience has been an amazing journey, it has been fullfillimng becouse I dio it out of passion. I have tought for over 12 years now 3 at primary level, 4 at high school and 5 at collge and university level.

About me
My name is Tom and I obtained my master's degree in Finance & Investments from Erasmus University. I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm and knowledge about topics such as business economics, economics, finance and accounting with everyone I mentor! During and after my studies I worked at an investor, investment bank and scientific research institute, and I am currently setting up my own company. I have been tutoring regularly since 2020; both to high school students and to adults pursuing a master's degree.

As a previous IGCSE & IB student graduate I understand the stress and difficulty in preparing for both the Mid-terms and End of year exams. The curriculum provided for both subjects will be based on deconstructing the theory into smaller sections which are then each focused on key vocabulary and factual information. Additionally, for each subject a clear essay structure for exams will be outlined and practised based on IGCSE & IB grading criteria. Correctly interpreting financial documentation can be very difficult at first. It is very important for entrepreneurs to understand how the business is translated into figures. In these lessons I like to zoom in on the business plan, what you should pay attention to in the figures and how a third party assesses the data.

Looking for a highly experienced tutor for economics and/or business economics? Then you've come to the right place! I'm a former economics teacher with a first-degree teaching qualification who, since 2021, has dedicated myself entirely to tutoring various subjects. I did this because it allows me to do what I love most: explaining material, building student confidence, and working together to improve grades. This way, I've helped around 200 students achieve passing grades or even pass exams over the past few years!

Since I'm a former economics teacher, I can perfectly help you if you're struggling with this subject. I can also help you with business economics, as my Bachelor's in International Business and Master's in Finance were packed with business economics courses. I then share everything I've written on the whiteboard with you via WhatsApp so you can review all the explanations and solutions at your leisure after the lesson. Super convenient!

I teach the basics of futures trading, and I bring 2 years of hands-on experience in these markets to help you learn effectively. Futures trading can seem complex at first, but I break it down into simple, practical steps so anyone can understand and start applying it.

This is a course of 5 (60 minute classes), I only teach in english.

Lesson 1: What Futures Are: I explain what a futures contract is, how it represents an agreement to buy or sell an asset at a predetermined price on a future date, and why traders use them.

Lesson 2:. Going Long and Short: You’ll understand the difference between taking a long position (expecting prices to rise) and a short position (expecting prices to fall), and how to apply these strategies in real market scenarios.

Lesson 3:Leverage and Margin: Futures allow you to control large positions with a small amount of capital. I teach how leverage works, how to calculate margin requirements, and why proper risk management is critical to avoid big losses.

Lesson 4: Risk Management: Personally the most important part: I show practical ways to protect your capital, set stop-losses, and manage trades so you can stay in the game longer while minimizing unnecessary risk.
