I offer personalized singing lessons in Helsinki for all skill levels. Encouragement and individuality are the center of my teaching and working as a classically trained singer. Whether you’re an experienced vocalist or a beginner, my lessons are tailored to help you reach your goals in a supportive and creative environment.

In my lessons, you will:

My name is Manca and my musical journey began at the age of 5 with violin lessons, and later I transitioned to singing. At 18, I began my formal vocal studies at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
During this time, my dedication was recognized at the Slovene national competition TEMSIG 2019, where I won the gold prize. I continued my education at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève in Switzerland, where I completed my Bachelor's degree in 2023. In 2022, I was honored with the prestigious Wilsdorf Scholarship for Excellence.

My performance achievements include solo recitals at the Maribor Opera House and the Ljubljana National Philharmonia, following my victory at the PerArtem competition in 2021. I also became the youngest finalist at the Lied Duo Gustav Mahler Competition in Geneva in May 2022, and in June of the same year, I won a gold prize at the Lav Mirski International Singing Competition in Osijek, Croatia. Additionally, I was invited to participate in the Yes Lied Academy (Young Europe Sings) in August 2023.

I am currently pursuing my Master's degree at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki and am excited to share my passion for music through teaching singing. My goal is to inspire and motivate others to reach their full potential as singers.

I believe singing should equal, enjoyment and pleasure. And that is exactly the way I wish to keep it for you.
My job as a teacher is to help you grow your skillset inside of doing what you love.
I am a Jazz singer graduate from the Conservatory of Amsterdam, now living in Helsinki and eager to share the happiness of music.
Tell me what style, songs, or musicians you love and together we can build a growth plan for you to broaden your repertoire and fuel your toolkit as a singer. The styles I cover are; Jazz - soul - pop - musical.
We could be working on that one high note you want to pitch, on that specific atmosphere you want to bring forth in your performance, or on the rhythmic feel of a certain song. We can also work on your posture while singing, your breathing, and how to stand comfortably in front of an audience. :)

Also, if you are a songwriter (experienced or beginner or a little shy) and you need some tips or advice in your writing process? Bring your songs to class and I'll happily help you with some tips and tricks that might perhaps also work for you so you can get yourself back on track. Songwriting can be a beautiful, personal process and sometimes you need an eye from the outside to unravel the unclearities.
