As a passionate and friendly tutor with a background in English Language and Linguistics, I enjoy helping students grow in both confidence and skill. I tailor my lessons to each student’s needs, whether you’re preparing for exams, working on academic writing, or simply looking to improve your spoken English. As a non-native speaker who has studied linguistics at a UK university, I understand the challenges language learners face and how to overcome them. Opleiding
I hold a degree in English Language and Linguistics from the University of York, where I studied modules including Phonetics and Phonology, Language Acquisition, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). My academic training equipped me with a strong grasp of English grammar, pronunciation, and language structure, as well as the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learners. I also have a particular interest in historical linguistics and enjoy incorporating cultural and linguistic context into my lessons.
