For Biology students: Please have a notebook and pens/pencils ready. We will often draw diagrams together to help visualise and memorise complex processes.

For both Biology and Languages, please send me the topics, specific questions, or scanned textbook pages you wish to cover at least 24 hours before the lesson. This allows me to prepare a tailored session and custom materials just for you!

Hi there!
I'm Clémence, and I’m a Biomedical Sciences student with a passion for sharing knowledge in a way that actually sticks.

I’ve always been the 'go-to' person for my friends when biology felt like an overwhelming challenge, and that’s where I discovered my love for teaching: there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing that 'Aha!' moment in a student’s eyes!

Beyond my studies, I am a Project Manager at BeMSA (Belgian Medical Students’ Association). This role has taught me how to be highly organised, structured, and efficient: qualities I bring to every tutoring session. I don't just teach the material, I help my students build concrete study methods and a clear vision of their goals!

Having been a Scout leader, I don't believe in boring, dusty lessons. I love making things playful and interactive. Whether we are drawing complex biological pathways or practising Dutch, I bring a lot of enthusiasm and patience to the table. I’m a firm believer that we learn best when we are curious and relaxed!

I grew up in a French-speaking home but spent my entire schooling in the Dutch-language system, giving me a unique 'native-level' grip on both languages. My grandfather was a French teacher, and he passed down to me the art of explaining things patiently and clearly. Also, as a member of the Cercles des Naturalistes de Belgique, I’ve spent years exploring the wonders of Belgian nature, which helps me bring concrete, real-world examples into our science lessons.

As the official Faculty Proofreader for the Institute of Philosophy at the KU Leuven, I have developed a deep understanding of the common struggles both professors and the wider student body face with respect to academic writing. Whether it be formal and linguistic errors or stylistic, structural, and argumentative issues, I gathered practical tools students can systematically employ to improve their academic writing—skills which coincide with the demands of a tutoring job. I’ve designed this course as the ultimate guide to academic writing, but that’s not it. Given my experience in debate clubs in Leuven, Brussels, and Munich, as well as in hosting highly successful discussion groups with students of all stripes, I can also teach you how to deliver fantastic presentations and get your point across in the most articulate manner. I am an engineer, graduated from the Free University of Brussels. My experience in the field of private lessons began during my university studies where I provided a few hours of help with success in a homework school. Realizing the passion I had for teaching, I subsequently began giving private lessons to high school students. Quickly, my diary filled up and the results followed. 100% of the students I followed succeeded. Thanks to my work, students who were “doomed” to fail succeeded in their year.
Today, I am an analyst engineer and project manager in a large company. However, I also provide private teaching in mathematics, physics, chemistry and English.
