I’m a fun, friendly Japanese teacher with over five years of experience teaching private and group lessons. I offer engaging online Japanese classes for beginners to advanced learners, focusing on real-life communication, confidence, and enjoying the learning process. Lessons are dynamic, personalised, and designed to keep you motivated and making progress. If you are looking for the class for conversation-only, JLPT prep, or absolute beginners, totally fine! In my lessons, you can have tailor-made lessons that meet your needs, goals, and learning pace. Whether you want to master grammar, improve conversation skills, or prepare for exams like the JLPT or GCSE Japanese, I design lessons that are both effective and enjoyable. I normally use the “Genki” and “Marugoto” textbooks for beginners, and “Tobira” for intermediate, with a lot of talking and listening in the lessons, using my own teaching slides on TV/online.
I believe that learning a language is more than just studying words — it’s about connecting with culture and communication. Through engaging activities - some traditional Japanese games, Origami, calligraphy, etc, cultural insights, and interactive lessons, I aim to help my students gain both fluency and confidence in using Japanese.
Available for both online and in-person lessons, I’m passionate about supporting every learner on their unique Japanese language journey.
Outside of teaching, I love skiing, tennis, and scuba diving, and I’m a big dog lover. These hobbies help me stay active, curious, and inspired in my everyday life.
