Synthesizers and electronics music production methods have been popular for long time, but many composers have tools which they may underuse due there being so many options and perhaps not knowing which tools are best for your needs.

I have been creating sounds with synthesizers, samplers, drum machines and computers since I was a teenager, and it would be a pleasure to share this passion with you. I have analogue and digital modular synthesizers which I can help you master, as well as more traditional hardware synths. We can also explore the possibilities of using software plugins in a DAW.

Physics and Mathematics for Beginners, GCSE and A Level!

As a professionally qualified teacher of Physics and Mathematics, I can assist any student taking pre-University level courses and exams. I have been a specialist in teaching GCSE and A Level Physics at an international school in Amsterdam for around a decade and have a wealth of experience to help students achieve top grades in these courses.

Previous to this I lectured in Physics and Mathematics at a large UK college. I was also a private tutor in the UK for students aged between 8 and 21. I have been a professionally qualified teacher for 10 years (PGCE - UK teaching qualification)

I have a great deal of experience teaching students with a wide range of interests and talents and I am able to make students see the fun in learning the subjects I teach and push the value of being skilful in these fields. Many of my students have gone on to top Universities around the world and it makes me very proud to see my students develop and become passionate about Physics and Mathematics.

I can offer tuition towards specific courses (GCSE, A level, IB) or I can make a custom curricula which addresses any specific needs you feel you may have.

I am Josefien, a Belgian harpist living in Amsterdam. As a master student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, I offer private harp lessons for young and old. I have experience in teaching and adapt the lessons as much as possible to the wishes of the student.
When you first get acquainted with the harp, we start with the basic techniques linked to simple melodies. Advanced students are also welcome to expand their knowledge of the instrument and work together on new repertoire.

Hello! I'm Nina, a drummer from Amsterdam.
I am currently studying pop/rock drums at the Herman Brood Academy in Utrecht.
I play in 2 bands. I also play in many different session projects (from pop to rock). I work a lot with hybrid drums (triggers and SPD) and also teach them with Ableton.

The studio is located in the Q-Factory in Amsterdam with two professional drum kits and sound system.
In addition, I can occasionally offer a lesson in Utrecht!
If all this is too far or for some other reason not reachable, lessons at home and / or online are also possible!

We can work on, among other things:
- Hand technique (how do I hold my sticks? Or which stick technique do I use for different music styles?)
Creativity (how can I ultimately make cool parts on the drums myself? Or different parts than what you initially came up with?)
- Improvisation (lots of playing and trying!)
- Timing (playing along with songs, with click tracks, how can I become more playful with the click?)
- Relaxed posture
- Drum notation (learning to read drum notes)
- New fills, grooves and beats
- Sound (how do I tune my drums? which drum sound do I want for different types of music?)
- Hybrid drums (working with samples on the SPD and/or triggers) in combination with Ableton

And of course we will play along to your favorite songs a lot!
I especially hope that I can create lessons together with you that match what you like and what you would like to learn. All levels and ages are welcome!

As a teacher with 12 years of experience I offer private lessons for all ages and all levels.
I have learned my teaching skills from famous cello pedagogues from all over the world. I have experience in teaching to children as well as adults and I consider essential that we both have fun while learning such a wonderful thing as playing music! Lessons will be adapted to your needs and we will develop together your musicality and technical skills.
Also possible to ask for academic support with the instrument, music theory or history.

Lessons can be in English, Spanish, French and Dutch. If you still don't have an instrument yourself, I can give some suggestions about where and how to find it - please don't hesitate to contact me if interested!
