I obtained my Jazz Music Master's program at the Prince Claus Conservatoire of Groningen in June 2022.
Previously, in 2018, I graduated from my music Bachelor's at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona (Spain).

My teaching method is flexible and always aimed at the needs of the student.

As well as the instrument technique I would suggest an in-depth study in ear-training, theory music and repertoire. The lesson is about teaching by involving the student in a fun and well outlined path, without forgetting the joy of learning and making music.

I've being teaching saxophone, improvisation, theory music and clarinet (for beginners) for all ages and abilities for almost 10 years now and, depending on which path the student is looking for, I will be thrilled to share and pass on the knowledge I have acquired throughout my teaching and artistic career.

My aim as a Saxophone & music teacher is to give you the ability to develop skills that will make you enjoy "music-making" and love exploring all kinds of songs/musical pieces. Also, I give you tools to be able to cooperate with other musicians.

The methods I use are focused around goals that I create together with each individual student (and/or parents). Our goals are based on both the student's passion & musical desires together with the technical needs to make these desires sound! (control over the instrument, reading music notation, music theory, Improvisation, composition, ear-training and more). Music is a powerful language that everyone around the world can understand, but not all can speak yet...

I am Marco, a clarinetist living in Amsterdam. . I had my first clarinet lesson in my city's marching band and since then I have found my passion. I am open to all genres of music, not just classical music, and I enjoy trying and experimenting with other instruments besides clarinet. I am very passionate about my job and I like to pass on my passion to my students. I mainly play chamber music with various ensembles in the Netherlands and abroad, sometimes I play with orchestras and as a soloist.

I started teaching clarinet many years ago. I give music lessons to students of all ages (from children who are 10 years old to women/men who are 70 years old) from beginner, intermediate and advanced level. Egor Tokarev is a saxophonist, composer, band leader of All Colors of Jazz Union who has released four albums of original music: «Bird 2020» (2020) — in duo with Sungtaek Choo, jazz pianist; «Vexillology», «Double Quintet» (2021); and «Without Rules» (2023) in cooperation with best jazzmen of St. Petersburg, Egor's hometown.

In 2024, Egor Tokarev & All Colors of Jazz Union have won 2 awards in DownBeat's 47th Annual Student Music Awards in following categories:

I have been playing, performing and teaching music my whole life, I studied Jazz Saxophone at the conservatorium van amsterdam, but I am from Scotland.
I am a professional performing singer, saxophonist and i write and produce music. I am very experienced in improvisation, Jazz Theory, technique.
I perform all around the world at international festivals such as North Sea Jazz, Into the Great Wide Open, to name a couple and have performed with artists such as Candy Dulfer (Prince) as well as with my own band roseye.

I am very happy to help out with some musical direction.
