I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying Turkish Language and Literature at university. I worked in a language school and at universities. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for more than 16 years. I also taught Turkish for 5 years when I was a university student. In 2018, I obtained a TESOL certificate and also began teaching English.

I teach both adults and children. Creating a comfortable learning environment for my students is one of my top priorities. If you would like to learn Turkish or English in a consistent and structured way, I would be happy to work with you.

I hold firmly to two main principles: creating a comfortable space for learning and building an encouraging atmosphere.

My students often describe me as patient, positive, and well-organised. Over time, I’ve found my own way of making Turkish feel easier, more enjoyable, and more practical to learn.

I love shaping each lesson around my students’ interests, needs, and learning styles. I adapt my teaching to the needs of students with special conditions, such as ADHD and OCD.

In my lessons, you’ll never feel afraid of making mistakes. Before long, you’ll start noticing them on your own and correcting yourself naturally.

Even though I use a communicative approach, my lessons are supported by a solid understanding of grammar, as Turkish has a very different structure.

I use the course book set prepared by Istanbul University. It follows a strategic approach to learning Turkish and includes all language skills—reading, grammar, writing, listening, watching, and speaking—from A1 to C2. All of these skills are essential for conversation.

I teach English for the A1 and A2 levels.

The workbook offers many exercises for homework or revision, and I support the book with my own authentic materials. I also use an interactive board that you can view anytime, and you can edit it as well. Repetition-based speaking practice plays an important role in my lessons.

I speak English well, and a bit of Italian, and I have also studied Persian and German grammar. I am interested in literature.

Ofrezco tutorías de matemáticas para niños y adolescentes.

Mi enfoque va más allá de simplemente enseñar matemáticas. Mi objetivo principal es ayudar a los estudiantes a aprender a aprender. Muchos estudiantes tienen dificultades no porque sean malos en matemáticas, sino porque nunca se les enseñó a comprender, practicar y pensar de forma independiente. En eso es precisamente en lo que me enfoco.

Por experiencia propia, comprendo lo frustrante y desmotivador que puede resultar el sistema escolar y las clases tradicionales cuando las explicaciones son confusas o apresuradas. Por eso me tomo el tiempo de explicar los conceptos paso a paso, con calma y estructura, hasta que realmente tengan sentido.

Mi objetivo es fomentar la confianza, el pensamiento lógico y la independencia, para que los alumnos no se limiten a resolver ejercicios durante la clase, sino que puedan abordar los problemas por sí mismos después. Mi objetivo es que los alumnos comprendan que aprender no es tan difícil como parece y que, con la explicación adecuada, puede resultar manejable y motivador.

I'm a TEFL-certified teacher of English as a foreign language with 3+ years of experience teaching at a private bilingual school in Thailand.

I have a degree in English Philology, which gave me a deep understanding of linguistics and how languages are acquired, and I always try to apply that knowledge in my work.
