As a qualified and experienced teacher in 4 different curricula, I know that IB Biology can often be overwhelming for IB students. In my class we work on different techniques to learn the content, and I zoom in on topics that students need extra help with. We work on strategies to memorize and understand different biological processes.

For exam prep sessions, not only do we work on the biology content, but we look at strategies to answer the different papers. How do you organize your answers? What is the best way to approach the different sections of paper 2? How do you approach the multiple choice questions from paper 1?

In addition to teaching in China and the Netherlands, I was also a Maths and Biology teacher in South Africa, my home country. My first love is Biology, but Math is a close second. I have over 10 years experience in teaching, including iGCSE, A-levels, AP and IB. I have a great passion for education and helping students to grow and develop to their full potential. My diverse teaching experience has taught me how to work with students from various backgrounds and various levels. During my tutoring sessions I take into account what each student needs and adjust my lessons based on the need of each individual student.
