About Me

I have always been fascinated by the idea of sharing the knowledge that I have worked so hard to amass. I always try to teach my students that in both languages and mathematics, the only key is practice, practice, practice. I was born and raised in Venezuela. Four years ago I moved to the US to pursue higher education. During these years I worked as a Teaching Assistant for classes such as Calculus, Linear Algebra, Physics I and II. Additionally, I worked as a private tutor for SAT and GRE prep courses for a year and a half and a year, respectively. Depending on your level of knowledge and expected goal, my focus will shift from elucidating concepts to allow you to see what is happening, to lots of problems to get familiar with the material. Over the years I have come up with strategies and techniques to efficiently tackle these science classes, and I am looking forward to sharing them with you.
To give you an idea of my mastery of this content, I got a perfect score in the Quantitative Reasoning section of the GRE six months ago.

Eduardo is a great teacher. He is really patient and his explanations just make everything much more easy. I thoroughly recommend him.
Eduardo is a thoughtful, attentive tutor who seems to engage and teach my daughter quite well. Thank you Eduardo!
Super prof ! Un apprentissage très sympa et varié ! Bref, On apprend très très bien !
Great first course!
I worked as a private tutor for over a year and a half in the United States helping teenagers and young adults with their preparation for the SAT. Over the years I have come up with strategies and tricks that I believe can significantly facilitate the way you approach this exam, after all, you must keep in mind that this test is not measuring your knowledge or intelligence per se. It is rather measuring your ability to prepare for this particular exam. Being a Mechanical Engineering Major with an English Minor, I believe to have the qualifications to help you with the Reading, Writing, and Math sections. Tell me what you want to work on and let's give it a go!
Whether you go to an International School or to a University with English as the language of instruction, my goal is to help kids, teenagers, and adults deal with Newtonian Physics effectively. During my Mechanical Engineering Major, I worked as a Teaching Assitant for Physics I (Mechanics) and Physics II (Electricity and Magnetism). In addition, I took higher-level courses regarding mechanics, which created a very solid foundation regarding this area, as well as the capacity to convey information on these challenging subjects. With Physics it is paramount to understand what is happening, and at times we all need extra help to see why something behaves in a certain way. I will try to help you see this, and then provide you with plenty of exercises to ensure that once you take a look at your exam, you do not even have to think of what to do, you just do it.
This class is aimed at anyone looking to increase his/her English-speaking and listening skills. Depending on the student's English level the focus will shift from vocabulary expansion and sentence structuring to "accent" reduction. My goal is to be a talking partner with whom you can engage in significant conversations about any topic you are interested in. Whether you are getting ready for a trip or a presentation or if you just want to make sure you do not forget what you already know, practice makes perfect and I want to try to help you achieve your goals.
Whether you go to an International School or to a University with English as the language of instruction, my goal is to help kids, teenagers, and adults deal with Math effectively. During my Mechanical Engineering Major, I worked as a Teaching Assitant for Calculus and Matrix Algebra. For this position, I served as a part-time lecturer, mainly focused on solving practice problems. I think this experience created a very solid mathematical foundation, as well as the capacity to convey information on these challenging subjects. I believe that the only way to get good at Math is through constant practice. I will provide you with plenty of exercises to ensure that once you take a look at your exam, you do not even have to think of what to do, you just do it.
When I first took the TOEFL (six years ago), I knew enough English to watch a movie without subtitles andg get most of what was happening and to engage in very simple small talk. I got 108 that time. A prep course I did for the TOEFL taught me that this exam is more about knowing the exam than about the English itself. The predictability of these standardized tests is your biggest weapon. After having moved to the US and having lived there for four years, I can safely say that my level of English is exponentially better than it was when I took the TOEFL. The classes would basically consist of non-stop practice of the different test sections. The goal is for you to show up on the exam date knowing everything that is coming and having the confidence that you can answer it.
Besides having grown and lived for twenty years in a Spanish-speaking country, I studied three years of mechanical engineering at Simón Bolívar University. In this institution, I not only obtained perfect notes in the eight preparatory courses of mathematics I attended, but also worked as an academic trainer for the Department of Mathematics. These experiences not only created in me an ideal basis for this subject, but also prepared me to teach effective classes to adolescents and adults. My goal is to help you prepare the best for your evaluations. For whatever reason, If you want to learn or improve your knowledge of mathematics in Spanish, I will help you. The key will be the practice, it is the only way to excellence. After enough practice exercises, you will not even need to think before answering the question on your exam.

During this time I came up with strategies and tricks that I believe can significantly facilitate the way you approach this exam, after all, you must keep in mind that this test is not measuring your knowledge or intelligence per se. It is rather measuring your ability to prepare for this particular exam. Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software is used in nearly all branches of Design Engineering, it represents a powerful tool to create, and represent 2D and 3D models in a user-friendly interface. SolidWorks is currently used by over 165,000 engineering companies worldwide (as of 2013). With the rise of Youtube, learning to use these packages is easier than ever, however, certifications are what make a company believe that you really know what you are doing. During my bachelors I took a class specifically dedicated to training for the CSWA and CSWP. At the end I got perfect scores in both. My goal is to pass on the strategies and tricks I was taught to ensure that once you make the economic investment to take this exam, you will pass with flying colors.
Did you know that there are 20 hispanic-speaking countries in the world? There is way more to this beautiful language than what is spoken in Spain. Son of Colombian and Venezuelan parents, I want to give you the chance to experience this language with different eyes, to hear different accents (you get to choose among Venezuelan, Colombian, and Argentinian) and learn a bit from different cultures, thus helping to broaden your horizons.

✅ Experienced teacher of French language ✅ Prepared, systematic and organized lessons for all the levels of French language ✅ Using different methods for memorizing words and keeping track of it There are several types of how we can work: a) conversation courses - where we can speak in French, I can teach you new words, explain rules of grammar, correct your mistakes and accent. b) grammar courses - where we go through different topics with many examples. Especially convenient for beginners, because I have organized lessons for different topics in systematic order which improves student’s perfromance. c) skype courses - where we can do both types (a and b) I am a very friendly person and I really enjoy passing knowledge to other people. French private lessons by university graduate in Letters
BE CAREFUL !!! IMPORTANT INFORMATION !!!! Due to the current situation, all of my courses are offered exclusively online at the moment. Thank you for your understanding. French private lessons are for students wishing: - consolidate their bases in grammar, spelling - improve their language skills (allophone students) - improve their speaking skills (conversation classes) -profect the written expression - ECR exams - prepare for the written examinations at the end of the studies (maturity, certificate of completion) - help with the writing of works of maturity (or other works of end of studies), of dissertation - work on argumentative texts - acquire a method to analyze literary texts - fill gaps - improve their spelling - prepare for oral exams (maturity, compulsory leaving certificates) - learn how to perform bibliographic research For help with writing: The objective is above all to acquire effective tools. The pupil will thus be able to learn to structure his ideas, to argue in a coherent (and convincing) way and to enrich his vocabulary. For the corrections of end of studies work: so that the meeting with the student is at the most profitable, I ask him to send me his writings before the meeting. Apart from my presence with the student, any course involves a preparation time before and after the lesson, including the work that I correct. My goal is to design an individualized course, so I take the time to write detailed comments on corrected work or tips to ensure maximum success for everyone. For example, an editorial correction can easily be the subject of a detailed commentary of 4 typewritten pages. For adults (FLE): In order to optimally prepare the first ones, I take the initiative to inform myself in advance of their objectives / expectations. Whether to practice speaking in everyday life, the professional world or to practice oral presentations, I prepare either PPT or technical sheets in advance that I send by mail ( after booking on the website). The other alternative is to make a PV of the course that I send (or that I print). Giving importance to keeping a written record on the one hand to better memorize the topics covered, on the other hand to better assimilate the spelling. Of a general nature, a concrete situation that responds to the learner's needs is the starting point. From this situation, I address the essential grammatical points.

In particular, I taught French and English for a year in a German high school, while working as a DELF examiner at the Institut français de Mainz. I give private lessons of conversation, grammar, version, theme and foreign culture, but also more courses for students in difficulty. Passionate about my work, I particularly like to help students with difficulties in their schooling and strive, as much as possible, to adapt to the needs and personality of my students to enable them to overcome their blockages and the obstacles that stand in their way. Improve your level in French by SKYPE (for students and adults)
Having obtained a bachelor's degree, I can help any student with difficulties in French, both grammar and literature in itself. For me, it's all about learning a certain methodology. I can accompany you to effectively read works, make cards, learn the precise vocabulary of analysis and learn to make a clear and effective plan. As for grammar or spelling, I can accompany the student through playful dictations and learning the rules of French. I am flexible of course and we can adapt the courses according to the needs of the moment (like the preparation of a homework, for example). I have also been teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE) for a year. Using lessons based on numerous exercises, I teach French grammar in a fun way. I encourage everyone to speak as much French as possible, even beginners by starting the course with 10 minutes of discussion. I organize my lessons in a structured way, working on grammar but also texts, videos to better understand French culture!
