For Organic Chemistry 1, lessons may cover substitution and elimination, alkene and alkyne reactions, stereochemistry, resonance, acid-base reactions, spectroscopy, and synthesis. For Organic Chemistry 2, lessons may cover aromatic chemistry, carbonyl reactions, carboxylic acid derivatives, enols and enolates, aldol and Claisen reactions, Michael addition, Robinson annulation, and multistep synthesis. For exam prep, I help students review missed questions, build a high-yield study plan, practice timed problems, and focus on the topics most likely to improve their score.
