My name is Philip, and I am an IB Diploma graduate who will be studying Economics and Business Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam. I achieved a 7 in IB Economics HL and received a 7 for all three of my Economics Internal Assessments, giving me recent experience with both the course content and the assessment requirements.
My tutoring approach focuses on developing a deep understanding of economic concepts and helping students apply them effectively in exams. I adapt each lesson to the student's needs by explaining difficult topics clearly, practising exam-style questions, improving evaluation skills, and helping students structure stronger responses. I also provide guidance on Economics Internal Assessments, including choosing suitable research questions, applying economic theory, analysing data, and improving evaluation.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although longer sessions can be arranged depending on the student's goals and needs.
My lessons are aimed at IB Economics students who want to improve their understanding of the subject, prepare for exams, or receive support with their Internal Assessment. As I have recently completed the IB programme myself, I understand the challenges students face and can provide practical advice based on my own experience.
