An introduction to a number of classical and fundamental concepts from drawing and painting. The classes are suitable for both beginning artists and advanced students. Depending on the specific interests of the student, a number of different pathways are possible, but I mainly work with a few exercises that allow the student to quickly improve his or her understanding of the effect of light & form. I teach from my studio in Antwerp, but I am also willing to work remotely. Online lessons, via zoom are also possible.

Dans mon cours de dessin, vous passerez d'abord par le dessin d'observation, c'est à dire l'art de voir avant de dessiner car sans observation pas de dessin, puis vous passerez à l'étape suivante de l’expression de soi, de votre propre point de vue par des projets personnels sur des thèmes imposés ou libres, à décider ensemble. J'ai une Licence d'Arts Appliqués à l’Académie Bugeant à Poitiers. (1983), 35 ans de direction artistique dans la communication et 40 ans de dessin non-stop. J'enseigne à l'ECV creative Shools à Nantes depuis 7 ans, chez Brassart depuis 5 ans, chez Efet du groupe Eductive, et chez ISG Luxury depuis 2 ans. Je donne des cours de "rough", une méthode de dessin, de design et de création publicitaire sur papier, avant le passage à l'ordinateur. (Du dessin pur et du dessin typographique ). J'ai une grande habitude de l'échange et du soutien personnalisé de chaque étudiant dans ces écoles. Je peux vous aider pour appréhender et créer via la suite Adobe (Photoshop, illustrator et indesign) que je pratique depuis 25 ans.

I am Naval Architect & Engineer working in East Flanders. I know Autocad and Rhinoceros very good. Basically, my aim is to teach how to model a structure or curved surfaces in Rhinoceros; preparation of 2D drawings in Autocad. Regarding to these softwares, I have more than 5 years of solid experience. According to the process I will be asking some houseworks and I can provide progress reports so that you can follow where you are. PS: I can not give these lessons in Dutch (not yet), this option is not possible to change, so please be aware.

I love making art and it is deeply rewarding to see others grow artistically! Drawing, in addition to its sheer pleasure, forms the basis of visual expression. While it is essential to careers such as illustration, comics or architecture, anyone may benefit from drawing to communicate their ideas. I can provide the insight and exercises needed for you to advance towards your artistic goals. Lessons are designed according to your skill-level and interests. Well develop your hand-eye coordination and visual memory. I have taught numerous drawing classes, in universities and primary schools, using techniques such as "blind-eye drawing", gestural drawings, still life and technical exercises, including light theory, colour theory and anatomy for artists. And, of course, conceptual thinking supports creative decisions at every level of the process.

These drawing lessons start from a perspective based on practice and specific exercises, according to the student's particular interests. We will work on the human figure, and the head, the expression in portrait drawing, drawing basic shapes and their relationship with texture and volume. I aim to share my experience as a freelance artist and support beginner artists or those with some experience, who wish to continue developing their drawing skills.

SHAPE AND VOLUME Drawing is, for me, the foundation of many creative works. We will gradually build your understanding of texture, shape, and proportion. We will work on various themes, materials, and formats. Afterward, you can choose the approach that resonates with you, and we will focus on that. For Chinese calligraphy: you don't need to understand the language to be able to appreciate the beauty of Chinese calligraphy. For me, I see Chinese calligraphy as a combination of negative space and different lines. We will start with the background story of Chinese calligraphy, and from there, you can choose which style of calligraphy you would like to develop

I work as a 3D generalist for cinema and/or video games, with a specialization in 3D Layout/Préviz. During our courses, I will teach you the techniques to create your own illustrations/projects, and allow you to discover if not improve your skills in the world of 3D. As examples, we will learn how to use software such as Blender, 3dsMAx, Photoshop, Zbrush, Substance Painter, and many others. Presently I am the Professor of Photography at the American College of Greece, Deree College on their International Honours Program and Professor of Digital Image at Pierce College in the Fine Art Department. I specialise in teaching Art, Photography & Design as a career path or an elective option. Subjects covered : sketching, drawing, painting, art history, contemporary art and design. I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.
