Hello to all of you! I welcome you to my profile. You would like to learn French and I would also like to teach you French. Fortunately, French is my native language. I live in Brussels where I have taught many French courses to French speakers and also to non-French speakers in the framework of FLE (French as a Foreign Language), mostly face-to-face and also some distance learning. I want to expand the use of distance learning. Hence my presence on this site. My greatest wish is to help you make as much progress as possible in French. To this end, I use a judicious combination of oral and written exchanges. I use these conversations to introduce grammatical concepts and expand your vocabulary. All this in a fun and friendly atmosphere! You will have to express yourself a lot in French, because my level of Dutch is average. In fact, I speak it at a "normal" pace, but with a more limited vocabulary and expressions than yours. I like to use different methods to teach French to students. It can be through songs, drama, role play or videos. I also very often use situations close to the student's experience, such as describing places they have been or talking about what they have experienced. At the same time, I teach the grammar rules to the student. I now live in regions where French has been spoken for over 30 years. Because I have learned French myself (and I am still learning other languages), I can easily put myself in a student's shoes. I can teach in French, Dutch, English, German and Russian.

If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
