Hello there! Welcome to my profile. I am Rui and I teach piano. The piano is known as the most complete musical instrument of all. This is because when playing it we can get all kinds of characters and sounds: very deep basses or super soft high notes; delicate melodies or dense harmonies (almost like an orchestra sometimes). This is one of the reasons why I love to play the piano, its versatility adapts to my everyday mood. I would love to show you the wonders we can create with this amazing instrument! Lessons Every student is different, and by saying this I mean that I prepare every lesson specifically for each student. Some might be more shy, others might need more time to acknowledge some questions. I believe that music (much like everything else) should be taught with patience and motivation. You shouldn’t feel like you’re going against time, it should be the opposite. As a teacher, I always give priority to your motivation and excitement regarding the lesson’s activity. If I see that a student is not enjoying the lesson I have to improvise and turn it around. When teaching, the most important thing for me is that you learn while having fun. I have already some years of experience in giving piano lessons to people of all ages. I adapt the lesson content for every student individually, and I always give them the freedom to follow their musical taste and instincts. I also give a lot of focus to creativity and improvisation. At the end of the lesson, I usually save a few minutes for the student to decide what he/she wants to do: maybe a little 4-hand improvisation, or maybe play a piece they have already learned and that they enjoy playing. About me Most of my studies and experience as a teacher took place in Portugal. I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance in 2020. I moved to The Netherlands in 2020 to attend the Master Program in Classical Piano Performance in the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. My academic studies were built on classical music but I also have some experience in pop and rock music. I hope this motivates you to study piano with me! Violin/viola privet lessons for all levels and ages! I am a viola and violin teacher who graduated from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague with a specialization in Education, as a three-year minor course as part of the Bachelor of Music. I am currently studying for my master's at Codarts Rotterdam. I have experience teaching music to kids and teenagers, beginners and advanced levels. Adults are very welcome too! :) We will make music together, I accompany my students with my viola or piano (if any). We will also learn music theory integrated with the instrument class.

I was under the tutelage of the great violin pedagogue Mr. Mauricio Fuks at Indiana University (USA) for 3 consecutive years (2018-2021) becoming his teaching assistant for 3 years (2018-2021). Moreover, I have taught young violinists in Elementary Schools, (e.g. Fairview Elementary School) and also collegiate students in the Jacobs School of Music (US). In Spain, I have teaching experience in several music schools instructing violinists ranging from 3 to 70 years of age. I have also worked with ADHD and autistic students with a great passion for violin playing and music-making. I hold a master's in Violin Performance at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag and in Psychology and Music (UNED). I have an excellent command of English, and Dutch and a good working knowledge of French. I base my teaching method on Suzuki and Galamian methods, which I combine with a wide repertoire of progressive violin pieces. Come and have a lesson with me!

Hi! I am a professional violinist, and chamber and orchestra player. I have extensive experience as a violin teacher and music theory teacher. I am an open teacher and violinist, therefore I like to teach different kinds of music, such as classical, rock, folk, alternative, etc. I am flexible and I like to adapt to the goals of the students. However, I specialize in students with some experience. I can prepare for Conservatory exams as well. I got my Bachelor's degree in Conservatorio Superior de Vigo ( Spain ) and my master's Degree in Utrecht Conservatorium.

Start the new course learning to play piano! I am a professional classical pianist, accompanist, creator, and composer with a Bachelor's Degree from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and a Master's Degree from the Royal Conservatorium in the Hague. For 7 years now, I have been teaching students of all levels between 5 and 60 years old. Lessons are based on your level, interests, and goals. Together we can find out if you are keener on classical repertoire, or if you want to play your favorite pop music, some beautiful soundtrack from a movie you like or compose/improvise new pieces. With my experience in teaching diverse genres, I will help you explore the music that you like. The central pillars I always work with are technique and creativity, which are much more connected than you would expect! While we advance, I also introduce the basics (or more deeply, if you are interested) of music theory to learn to communicate with each other in musical terms (chords, keys, score reading, etc.). And above all, the goal is to enjoy and have fun!

My violin and viola lessons are available for people of all ages, from the ones starting with the instruments until the pre-bachelor level. In them, I will help students to control their instruments in an easy way, from basic technique to specific to each chosen work, in addition to giving great importance to posture, movement, and body care, crucial for musicians. Although my main instrument is the viola, I also have extensive knowledge of the violin.

Lessons for total beginners, as well as advanced cellists. I study at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and studied in Paris before living in the Netherlands. Hello! My name is Belemir, and I am a classical violinist living in Den Haag. I received my Master's degree from the Royal Conservatory in 2017 with the Orchestra Master specialization and my Bachelor's degree from the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory in Istanbul. My training has to lead me to pursue an exciting profession of diverse musical styles and settings which has allowed me to meet many wonderful new people and to share our music and ideas with each other. Now after many years of education and performing experience, I would like to also share what I have learned (and what I am still continuing to learn) with you! As a passionate educator, I enjoy sharing my musical knowledge and experience with others – I even find myself learning from my students at times! I am aware that everyone is unique, and every student has different needs and ways of learning. Therefore, I prefer to teach in a way that is best suited to each student’s individual needs, and so, I do not follow only one specific method of instruction. I am a professional composer, performer, pianist, and sound artist who believes that sharing knowledge and experience is one of the most important parts of our lives. About me: After graduating as an electric bass player at Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia (Rome) Alessio moved in 2015 in The Hague (NL) to study double bass in the jazz department of the Royal Conservatory. Lord hey he studied with Clemens van der Feen, Janos Bruneel, Gulli Gudmundsson and Jean-Paul Everts. He is currently a master student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. He is active in the dutch and Italian jazz scenes playing in clubs, neck, and festivals with many different projects. He also studied with Frans van der Hoeven, Ernst Glerum, Marco Siniscalco, Andrea Pighi, Jarmo Hoogendijk, Eric Ineke, Roelof Meijer. Since 2015 he is a member of the staff o the Fara Music Festival.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.
