Hello i’m Massimiliano, a professional musician and composer from Italy living in Rotterdam since six years. I play clarinet and saxophone and I graduated from Codarts Rotterdam three years ago! I love to share my passion for music with my students and currently i am teaching at home and also doing workshops for small kids around the city! I discovered I enjoy teching very much while following a minor in education during my bachelor. Throughout the course I learned pedagogy, didactics and methodology, and worked with students of different ages and levels of experience. I love teaching because it allows me to share my knowledge and challenges me to be more imaginative and flexible. The lessons are tailor-made. This means that the goals are going to be adapted to YOUR wishes taking in account previous experience, expectations and musical taste. As an experienced violinist and a violin teacher, I offer violin lessons for students in every age and level of advancement. My name is David, I'm a trumpet player, composer, and conductor based in Rotterdam. I started to study music when I was 8 years old and I get the Professional Music degree in the specialty of classical trumpet at the Conservatory of Noia (Galicia, Spain) and I've been playing Jazz since I was a teenager. In my country, I have been a student with teachers such as Paco Charlín or Abe Rábade, whom I have considered my mentors for years, but I have also studied and attended numerous masterclasses and workshops with internationally renowned teachers such as Michael Phillip Mossman, Antonio Hart, Darren Barret, Michel Camilo, Logan Richardson, Orrin Evans ...etc. With 18 years working and studying the trumpet, I have been fortunate to play with numerous artists and projects such as Phillip Dizack, Nelson Cascais, Kyle Poole, Dyna Stephens, Walter White, L.A.R. Legido, Jesús Santandreu, Pontejazz Big Band, CSM Big Band and also with different groups and orchestras of dance and Latin music. As a teacher, I have experience teaching in different schools, teaching trumpet lessons, music theory, and choir and ensemble conduction, working with both young children and adults and the elderly, aged between 4 and 85. My classes are individualized and personal, adapting to the needs and concerns of the student to help him evolve and meet his objectives.

Besides that I'm also giving lessons on composing film music.

Viola lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced levels and violin lessons for beginners and intermediate levels, specialised in classical music, pop or Latin music. Are you curious about playing different musical styles and exploring different possibilities with your instrument? With pop and/or latin genres, we will deal with rhythmic training, arranging skills, accompanying, interpretation and basic improvisation, as well as developing good technical skills on the instrument. Basic knowledge about the instrument is preferred. With classical music, we are going to be able to dive deeply into the instruments technical and expressive possibilities and work on classical repertoire from different periods. Classical and popular music are very good complements for each other. However, it is also possible to work only on one genre, depending on your interests :)
