Saxophone lessons (Jazz and Classical) - Improvisation - Music Theory (All levels)

Hi! My name is Eduardo, a professional musician and long-time music teacher. I am offering physical and online lessons in Music Theory, Improvisation and Instrument. #Harmony #Composition #Solfège #Saxophone #Clarinet #Piano Lessons are addressed to every student profile, regardless of age, level of expectations (no matter if it is seen as a hobby or rather if the individual is getting prepared for official Conservatory auditions, etc.). We will play and/or focus on what the student is willing to deepen into (whatever music style they are interested in, more theoretical aspects or rather practical ones), trying to get the maximum profit of the employed time, and prioritising the actual learning of the person as the main factor for their motivation. I obtained my Jazz Music Master's program at the Prince Claus Conservatoire of Groningen in June 2022. Previously, in 2018, I graduated from my music Bachelor's at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona (Spain).

Hallo! Ik ben Ischico en ik ben concertpianiste en pianodocent. Met mijn tien jaar lesgeefervaring, help ik jou graag verder met jouw piano-vaardigheden. Ik vind het belangrijk dat de pianoles motiverend is. Onderwerpen die in de les regelmatig aan bod komen zijn techniek, muzikaliteit, interpretatie, gehoortraining, improvisatie en nog veel meer. Ik geef pianoles in mijn pianostudio op de NDSM-Werf. ​Iedere leerling is anders en daarom maak ik een op maat gemaakt lesplan voor iedere leerling. Plezier in het spelen is erg belangrijk. Wanneer een leerling met plezier speelt, gaat deze ook het snelst vooruit. Ik verwelkom u graag voor een proefles om uw wensen te bespreken. Ik heb twee masteropleidingen gedaan aan The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland en aan Conservatori del Liceu te Barcelona. Buiten het lesgeven, geef ik regelmatig concerten en organiseer ik andere muzikale projecten.

In the guitar course we will start from where you are at. Main focuses are a.o.: Building a personal sustainable practice routine Achieving a general level of ear training Achieving basic harmonic skills on guitar Achieving technical skills (scales, patterns) Soloing The core of these are like food: a bit of salt and pepper plus whatever you like. We will do ear training, some technique and a bit of theory each lesson. What we do with it, or where we go from there is up to you and your own wishes!

Heb je altijd al een instrument willen spelen dat extreem divers is en in veel verschillende muziekstijlen wordt gebruikt? Mijn doel is om je te helpen je doelen te bereiken met alles wat je met het instrument wilt leren, en je ook uitrusten met goede instrumenttechniek en algemene kennis van muziektheorie. Ik heb zowel klassieke als jazzmuziek gestudeerd en speelde ook pop, funk en andere muziekstijlen. Ik ben onlangs afgestudeerd aan het Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Deze les gaat over het leren van de grondbeginselen van muziek door het leren van liedjes en onderwerpen die zullen worden besproken. De onderwerpen die we in de lessen kunnen bespreken zijn - Deuntjes leren (pop, folk en rock tot jazzstandaarden) - Zichtmeting - Theorie (harmonie, meter, tempo, vorm, toonsoort, toonladders) - Improvisatie - Oortraining (ontwikkelen om verschillende intervallen, toonladders, akkoordenschema's te herkennen en te kunnen zien zingen) Op verzoek praten we ook over andere muzikale onderwerpen!

Ik ben een werkende jazzmuzikant in Amsterdam. Ik geef drumles, elk genre en elk niveau: ik heb een goed gevoel voor het vinden van de juiste tools om een leerling in beweging te krijgen en naar een hoger niveau te tillen. We kunnen werken aan elk muziekgenre dat je leuk vindt: ik ben erg veelzijdig. Over mij: "Ilia is een van de meest veelbelovende, opkomende drummers van Nederland. Vanaf het begin werd Ilia dagelijks blootgesteld aan een grote verscheidenheid aan muziek. Na een paar jaar viool te hebben gespeeld, pakte hij op tienjarige leeftijd het drummen op. Het werd al snel duidelijk dat hij talent had voor het instrument en een unieke stem die wordt gekenmerkt door zijn energieke aanpak en veelzijdigheid in een breed scala aan muzikale genres. Momenteel treedt hij regelmatig op met gerenommeerde musici in heel Europa, en leidt en treedt hij op met zijn eigen project INTROSPECTIONS en talloze andere groepen."

Spelen en werken als saxofonist met internationaal bekende artiesten over de hele wereld. Egor heeft veel ervaring in het lesgeven aan alle leeftijden en is als leerkracht actief op meerdere scholen. De lessen zijn afgestemd op de leeftijd/het niveau van de leerlingen. Egor is uitzonderlijk vloeiend in het lesgeven in klassiek en jazz, maar heeft ook veel ervaring met elektronische en geproduceerde muziek. Basisbeginselen van gitaartechniek aanleren: noten/tabs lezen, analyse van melodie en harmonie, gehoortraining 2. My name is Rosa. I studied my bachelor in Barcelona and my masters at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in the speciality of clarinet performance. I am specialized in contemporary and classical music, but I am active in some ensembles and groups of other styles, like Klezmer music, Balkan, Gipsy, Brazilian, Jazz... I have been teaching for more than 8 years. I have students of all ages and levels, so I adapt myself to the wishes and necessities of each one, accordingly to the style they like. I believe in the necessity of applying new methods in musical education such as improvisation, jazz, World Music traditions and others. Everyone can improvise from the first day they play the instrument, but don't panic! Improvising does not mean one has to be able to play something beautiful or interesting, is a way of enriching the relationship with your instrument knowing how it reacts in different situations. I can introduce you to play a new style, to improvise, to read scores and understand harmony to give sense and coherence to the music you want to play.

Ik wil je heel graag helpen ontdekken wat jou stem allemaal kan. Tevens heb ik veel kennis van muziektheorie en kan ik je begeleiden op Piano of Gitaar. Zelf heb ik 10 jaar in het Nationaal Kinderkoor gezongen en bijvoorbeeld opgetreden in het Koninklijk Concertgebouw van Amsterdam of Concertgebouw aan het IJ. Let's create games to develop creativity and technique, those that will help you to personalise your way of playing. With music, we learn much more than just playing pieces. I always thought about how the ancient Greeks introduced Music as an essential subject in school. Music was to heal, to entertain, to get to know yourself more. I'm just finished my studies in the University of Arts of Codarts (Rotterdam) and I can't deny I will always keep learning after finishing my degree. I'm looking forward to sharing some knowledge and to hear what you already know. What can i offer? Styles that we can work on: Classical, Folk, Jazz, Pop music. Languages that we can speak in the lesson: Dutch, English, Catalan or/and Spanish Skills that we can work on: basic techniques, jazz and folk techniques, play the cello while singing, percussion on the cello. How do I work? Each class will be individually prepared, in order to have the student goals in mind. In our first lesson we can get to know each other and then we will figure out what do you want and how can I help you. For BEGINNERS I teach the bow, finger positions and other basics with easy songs (with kids I add games to make it more entreating). Such as relating painting with playing, dancing with playing or literature with playing. For AVERAGE LEVEL we explore, with already some technique, how to play songs, finding a good sound and feel at ease with the instrument. Extra activities: Once a month I plan a rehearsal with pianist to work on some repertoire of cello and piano. Meetings with other students are also arranged to play duos together. My name is Mathilde, I am a French violinist, pianist, harpsichordist, producer and composer.  I have graduated from the world’s great institutions such as the Royal College of Music London, Manhattan School of Music New-York, Brussels Royal Conservatory, and Paris-Sorbonne University (in musicology). I have been performing concerts around the world in the most prestigious concert halls including the Châtelet Theatre and Seine Musicale (Paris), the National Opera House (Oman) and La Scala (Milan), as well as many other venues in Europe, US, China, Middle-East. During this period of time, I had been playing in the Orchestra Academy of La Scala in Milan for 2 years, and I am currently playing at the Metropole Orkest in Amsterdam. With the experiences I gained over the years - including the teaching experience in the Conservatory of Cambrai (France) - I became an expert in teaching violin and keyboards as well as music theory, including writing and reading scores. I have been teaching to the different age groups and different levels of technical backgrounds (beginner or advanced). I can easily adapt myself to the level of each student to create a synchronicity and help them pursue their goals and wishes. I am there to help them as a teacher and a music coach for their musical career. I can combine different practices and teach basic techniques in repertoire that matches the personality of the student (from classical to contemporary, pop, rock and more). Based on the teaching experiences I have, I can consider myself as a teacher with patience, motivating style and an open mind. Happy to provide references from my previous students from Amsterdam / Paris / Milan if requested.  Next to my technical teaching skills, I am also actively involving in various musical projects. I have recently performed for major TV shows in Paris: Le Grand Échiquier (France 2), Variations (France Télévisions, Culturbox), and I am currently making my first classical / electronic album in Amsterdam.

Or maybe you dream of the warm cuddly sound of the double bass, playing with the bow and feel the vibration of the Wood. Playing some Jazz, along with Miles Davis or Wayne Shorter. With almost 20 years of experience in the low tones world I can guide you in the study of electric bass and double bass. I'm an active performer and touring musician, as well as a master graduated Bass player. (Conservatorium van Amsterdam) We will work together to find what best suites you. Through the music that you love we'll find the right path to discover the world of the Bass. Jawa (1996) een Syrische ud-speler, zanger en componist. Ik ben geboren in Aleppo en opgegroeid in Damascus, Syrië. Ik begon met muziek maken toen ik elf was. Ik koos de Oud als mijn instrument omdat mijn vader het thuis elke dag bespeelde toen ik jong was. Gaandeweg werd ik er verliefd op en nu voel ik een onbeperkt gevoel van vrijheid tijdens het spelen ervan. In 2021 afgestudeerd aan het Rotterdams Conservatorium.
