About Me

I would like to tell you a bit about my life as a classical pianist because I believe that achieving proper education for students does not only come from pedagogy but having self-experience of the process.
I began studying the piano in 2001 with Samir Mirzayev at the Antalya State Conservatory's Certificate Program. In 2017, I graduated from Moscow P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory, class of Assoc. Prof. Sergey Koudriakov. Recently, I finished my master studies in Conservatory of Amsterdam with Prof. Naum Grubert.
I had my orchestral debut when I was 10. I played as soloist and also gave recitals in Germany, Russia, Italy, Ukraine, Malta, Azerbaijan, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Turkey. I also actively give concerts in a piano duo with pianist Ecem Alnıaçık.
Throughout my studentship, I have participated in many competitions and received various prizes at the 6th International Young Talents Music Competition in Turkey and 13th Music Competition in Bulgaria in 2008, special prize and scholarship at the 4th International Vavilov Piano Competition in Russia and 8th Horowitz Piano Competition in Kiev. I won the third prize at the 4th Pera Piano Competition in Istanbul and the second prize at the 19th International Music Competition in Latvia both in 2009. I won the first prize at the 3rd International Slobozhanska Fantasy Piano Competition in Sumy, Ukraine. In 2013 I got a special prize and scholarship from The International Sergey Rachmaninov 140th Anniversary Festival in Bonn, Germany. In 2014, I won the second prize at the Malta International Piano Competition.

Piano and music private lessons for all ages and levels
I am a professional classical pianist in the Netherlands working as a performer, accompanist, and piano teacher. I have bachelor's and master's degrees from the Conservatori Liceu in Barcelona and I'm actually taking my second master studies in HKU Conservatorium in Utrecht. I am very fond of teaching and have experience with people of all ages and levels. For kids, I prepare dynamic classes with different techniques, games, and approaches, so they can be a fun experience for them. It's very important for me to teach students the best tools for approaching music but mainly that they enjoy, learn, and have a good time. We build and talk about the lessons and goals together, always following your interests and dreams with music.

Piano lessons - music theory and harmony - for any level
I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Lydia
Piano Lessons in Classical and Contemporary Styles for Beginning-Advanced Levels (ages 6 and up)
I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons to students of all levels. As a pianist with 14 years of teaching experience and over 23 years of playing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the course of learning piano. If the student is interested in a more serious approach, I can also guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) exams. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions and for various competitions. Recently, my students have achieved the highest marks in the ABRSM exams as well as prizes in competitions. We also have a class concert for interested students twice per year. I am happy working in both a relaxed and serious approach, we simply need to discuss the objectives of the student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." Prior to this, I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota and TCU-Fort Worth, TX, USA. My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist in orchestra (also as a harpist), and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio and look forward to meeting new students.

Cheslava
Piano and Singing tutor with 5 years experience and professional education
From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.
