Hi there! My name is Matilda and I am Australian. I have a degree in primary education. I have been teaching for 5+ years and feel very passionate about teaching. I know how to adapt lessons to the needs of the learner, as well as creating fun, engaging and stress-free lessons. Ten years ago I had the chance to live in Strasbourg (France) with a french family for three months. They did not speak french so I was completely immersed into the french language. I can therefore understand the difficulties of learning another language. Learning English can feel scary and difficult, but with the right approach it can be a fun experience! English can be easy to learn if you immerse yourself in the language via film, books and conversations (hopefully with me!)

Bilingual and passionate about German culture, I have been offering private lessons in German for beginners and intermediate levels for 8 years. I am bilingual, have a Franco-German baccalaureate, and have lived in Germany for 4 years. I also did a preparatory literary class and therefore studied German literature and culture. Bilingual student in political science in double degree in France and England, my goal is to advance the student in English with French methods (didactic, mechanics, vocabulary learning and grammatical rigor) while complementing them with the flexibility of methods English-speaking (more focused on dialogue and learning specific vocabulary).
