My course is intended for non-French speaking adults of all levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). I use an effective learning method adapted to each student. I use various educational documents, such as press articles, courses specially prepared for the student with targeted exercises, oral comprehension, written expressions ... Each daily lesson includes the progressive learning of grammar, spelling, pronunciation, conjugation and vocabulary. I also focus on oral and written expression.

Hi, This is Zhou, an enthusiastic lover of ancient Chinese culture and a part-time Guzheng performer. I have taken part in several art projects in the Netherlands supported by prestigious funding bodies such as Mondriaan Fonds, Amsterdam Fond voor de Kunst, Fonds Podiumkunsten, among others. Guzheng is an instrument that is easy to start with but gets difficult with higher level. I hope to bring the joy of playing this meditative instrument to more people internationally.

I have a lot of experience teaching foreign languages to children, as I have been a teacher assistant and an international au pair before. I give priority to conversation, convinced that even from the very first day, one can start to communicate in the new language and thus gain confidence to go on. I base my courses on the four essential competencies: speaking, listening, writing and reading, always focusing on your personal goals and motivation. I progressively integrate phonetics, grammar, conjugation, vocabulary in the courses which always include practical exercises. You will also learn a lot about the culture as it is deeply linked to the language. The pedagogic materials I choose are mostly created for native speakers : texts from literature, newspapers, radio podcasts, videos, songs.... Indeed, I am convinced that the learning process has to tackle « real subjects », as languages are alive and constantly changing. My main challenge is to help the learners to be able to « think » in the second language.
