Violoniste, pianiste et chef de chœur, j'enseigne le piano, le violon et le chant aux enfants et adultes de tous niveaux. J'adapte ma pédagogie en fonction des élèves, de leur temps de travail et de leurs ambitions. Bien que de formation classique conservatoire (i.e. C.N.R. de Grenoble, Académie de l'Orchestre National de Lyon, classes de Corinne Pothiers-Denis, William Garcin, Luc Denoux, Paul Guigue) complétée d’une spécialisation baroque (i.e. classe de musique ancienne : Arnaud PUMIR), je travaille sur des styles aussi variés que le jazz, la variété, le rock, l'électro, la musique celtique ou les musiques traditionnelles.

Je donne des cours de violon à domicile à Paris et à Boulogne Billancourt. J'aime accompagner la progression technique et musicale de chaque élève en s'adaptant à son rythme de travail et à ses goûts personnels. J'étudie actuellement en classe préparatoire de violon au CRR de Boulogne Billancourt. J'ai obtenu mon DEM en 2021.

My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. I can teach in English or French and of course in my mother tongue Albanian.

In 2022, he performed as a soloist in Mozart's Symphonie Concertante for violin and viola with Renaud Capuçon and the Orchester National du Capitole de Toulouse. His debut as a soloist was marked by Bartók's Concerto with the Pasdeloup orchestra at the age of 16, followed by multiple experiences as a soloist with orchestras such as the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchester de la Garde Républicaine, L 'Chamber Orchestra of New Aquitaine, The Colonne Orchestra... Furthermore, Paul's chamber music partners include: Renaud Capuçon, Gérard Caussé, Nelson Goerner, Valeriy Sokolov, François Salque, Pierre Fouchenneret, Jérôme Pernoo, Marc Coppey, Adam Laloum, Emmanuel Strosser, Adrien Boisseau, Liya Petrova, Adrien La Marca, Jérôme Ducros, Jérémy Menuhin, Victor Julien-Laferrière, Nicolas Baldeyrou... He has performed notably at the La Roque-d'Anthéron Festival, at the Easter Festival in Aix-en-Provence, Deauville, and Colmar, at the Sommets Musicaux de Gstaat, at the Festival de la Grange de Meslay, at the Paris Chamber Music Center, at Pianissimes, at the Ideal Festival at the Potager du Roi de Versailles, at the Pablo Casals Festival in Prades, with the Fractales Collective... In November 2021, he was invited by Renaud Capuçon to the Nouveaux Horizons festival where he performed, among other things, various contemporary creations including a work by Diana Soh in a viola duo with Gérard Caussé. He regularly plays in duo with the organist Vincent Warnier who recently composed “Légende”, a work for viola and organ of which Paul is the dedicatee. They performed the creation in October 2020. In 2021, Michel Le Naour devoted an article to him in the Classica magazine, and in 2022, Benoît Fauchet in the Diapason magazine. He also appears in other media such as France Musique, the Radio Classique newspaper, Le Figaro, le Grand Échiquier on France 3, Arte Concert, Ouest-France... He is invited, in 2021, to Philippe's show Labro on C8. He joined Beau Soir Productions from its creation, which allowed him to work with Renaud Capuçon and his teams. Paul plays on a Patrick Robin viola, financed by the Safran Foundation for Music, on the initiative of the TALENTS & VIOLON'CELLES association.

In this violin course you will learn a foundation in learning one of the most rewarding instruments in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Grip the bow, hold the violin, have the perfect hand position and enjoy playing the strings while learning how to read the notes, the violin rhythm and technique. Students will generally learn better if they feel a connection developing with their teacher, whether that’s through humour, showing care about their development, or making sure teacher devote time equally to all students when in a group. I am currently an intern at the Rheinische Philharmonie State Orchestra. I also perform as a soloist and as a chamber musician. Most recently with the Vratz Symphony Orchestra. I lectured at a music school in Düsseldorf and Velbert and also teach in Essen. I have been awarded first prizes at international competitions several times and regularly perform in classical and jazz/pop formations. Beginners, advanced violinists and aspiring violin students are in good hands with me. All aspects of violin playing such as technique, intonation, register playing, vibrato etc. including compositions from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries are integrated as well as modern styles from the 20th or 21st centuries. Playing the violin should be fun for my students, so in addition to the technique of playing, musical expression is also taught with this versatile instrument. I approach my younger students with creativity and empathy. Ambitious students learn the classical and romantic violin literature required for their studies. If desired, the students can take part in competitions such as “Jugend musiziert”, auditions or Prepared entrance exams at German music universities. I look forward to your inquiry! I am a professional violin and viola teacher based in Zurich, teaching in person at students' location or online, in English, German or Russian. Toby is an outstanding instructor and works with children very naturally. My 11 year old son has been taking lessons with Toby for over two months and is eager for each lesson. Toby is extremely talented, but beyond that, he engages my son deeply with the music itself, fundamental techniques, music theory, and even the interpretation of the music. Toby is kind, encouraging, and works with students at a level that is appropriate. He has allowed my son to chose music that if fun and interesting to practice, even though the pieces are challenging. In fact, I often sit in to listen to the lessons, as they are so good. My son has had a couple of lessons with Toby while company has been over, and everyone has commented on how amazing Toby is as an instructor. Le Violon est à la fois un instrument séduisant et une pratique exigeante. Beaucoup d'entre nous l'aimons et le trouvons fascinant, toutefois nous ne savons pas comment se lancer dans son aventure. Je me propose d'être cette aide, ce professeur qui veillera à un apprentissage sans défauts, si vous débutez et qui n'aura pas peur de vous emmener encore plus loin si vous avez quelques années de pratique. Je suis toujours attentif aux goûts musicaux de mes élèves. Il est tout à fait possible d'apprendre correctement dans tous les styles. Violoniste, musicien professionnel, j'ai étudié en France et en Belgique. Titulaire d'un diplôme de bachelier en violon et violon baroque je suis actuellement en Master d'interprétation et sur le point de débuter un master en didactique. I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools: Hart Muziekschool in Haarlem and Vioolstudio 020! in Amsterdam). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes.

Today, the violin has become one of the most popular and versatile of all musical instruments. Apart from classical, and, in France, gypsy swing, which remain his areas of predilection, he has introduced himself everywhere, into jazz, pop, electro, etc. However, at the beginning of the initiation, the basics remain more or less the same, in all styles. Everyone obviously has their own rhythm and these particular ambitions: I have students who practice for several hours every day, and others who only play once or twice a week, outside of class. I assume that almost anything is possible, provided you have the right learning methods. First, we will define, as precisely as possible, your objective. What style do you want to learn? Which artist inspires you and makes you want to learn the violin? What is your level of musicality, have you ever played the violin or other instruments? And finally, how much time do you want to devote to the violin? After having collected this information, I will offer you a suitable program, made up of technical exercises, training pieces, "objective" pieces, and also, which is often neglected, listening advice (such as when learning a language, you learn a lot by listening...). Also note that it is possible to play works that seem difficult, by tackling simplified versions. At the end of each course I send you a detailed report of what we have worked on, what has been accomplished and what remains to be worked on/corrected (without pressure, without stress, of course.. .;)) Teacher's presentation Coming from a family of violinists, I received my first violin lessons from my father at 4 years old.
