Group masterclass in MAO beatmaking music production Ableton
I am a DJ / Producer and sound engineer graduated from the SAE Institute Geneva. I have been composing and producing for 9 years. I have produced and composed for local and international artists. I am a member of the “WUGS” trio with which I received in 2017 the Swiss Live Talents award for “best Electro / Dance artist”. Our songs are playlisted on radio on One FM, Couleur3 and Rouge FM and we have performed at the Caribana Festival, the Electron Festival, and even the Montreux Jazz Festival. My group masterclasses are for anyone wishing to observe how I compose, produce and record songs. They take place in immersion in my fully equipped music studio. I have been giving private lessons for over 6 years. I have trained more than thirty students, the most serious and motivated of whom are now able to compose and / or record their own music independently. (links to their music below). Some now perform as DJs and perform their own compositions during their shows. My masterclasses welcome small groups of 3 to 7 people. Duration: 3h30 with break During each session I discuss one of the following topics: Composition of a song from A to Z Decomposition and analysis of an existing song Voice and instrumental mixing Mastering a song Recording a voice Preparing and performing a DJset

English and French
I do not have a degree in languages but I have a good command of English in particular written (I can give courses up to the Cycle Orientation level). I also have a very good level of spelling in French as well as knowledge of basic general cultures of the language (grammar, conjugation, figures of styles ...). Concerning the MAO, I am currently in BTS Audiovisual option trades of the Sound and thus has solid knowledge in MAO, mixing and mastering, particularly on ProTools (in French or in English (English advised)) and Ableton Live; as well as good notions of acoustics. I also have extensive general knowledge about consumer and professional sound equipment. About me, I am patient and I like to teach people. I also propose an individualized pedagogy according to the level and needs of my students. As far as possible (except for busy schedule) I also give personalized assignments after each lesson (including MAO / Sound Design) in order to better follow the progress of my students.

Composing Music using computer software (any genre)
Composing your own music has always been a very rewarding task. This has never been so true as the present day when you can hear what you compose instantly by using computers to generate and play back your own music. However, to ensure that your music sounds really great there are many principles to be considered. I have had a great interest in composing for over 40 years, composing in a wide variety of styles. Having been a music teacher in a comprehensive school for over 30 years, I have had a lot of very relevant experience in teaching composition to a wide range of different ages and abilities. The class will be personalized to your particular standard and chosen style of composition. If you are a complete novice and have not used computers to create music we can use a web-based programme or a free downloadable programme. On the other hand, if you are familiar with a particular programme that you have installed on your computer we can work through screen sharing and sound sharing to enhance your compositions using my experience. I will tailor-make the class to suit you.

Master the Score: Elevate Your Music Theory Skills with Online Lessons by Martin Levallois
I'm Martin! I've studied Guitar Performance major at Berklee College of Music. I have previously taught students ranging from children to elders, in various guitar styles including jazz, rock and pop. I worked as a Core Music Tutor at Berklee College of Music, where I provided individual, hourly tutoring sessions. During the class time I assisted the students in completing coursework and projects in subjects like Fundamentals of Ear Training, Music Fundamentals, Music Application and Theory, Harmony 2-4, Ear Training 1-4, Solfege 1-2, Arranging 1-2, Tonal Harmony and Composition 1-2, Art of Counterpoint, and Conducting 1. During this job I got certified by the College Reading and Learning Association through trainings offered in the program. I would describe my teaching philosophy as organic and holistic. I believe that with unlimited content at their fingertips, people today tend to be overwhelmed by the amount of information, whereas I consider it should be a mix between knowledge and perceptual approach. I understand the student needs its own time to digest knowledge and incorporate it.

I studied guitar and music production at the Conservatory in Ghent and have been active as a professional musician for several years. I have 12 years of experience as a private teacher. Lessons take place in Gentbrugge near the Keizerpark. We can determine the exact time of the lesson together. All very flexible. Does this seem like something for you? Don't hesitate to send me a message. Hope to see you soon! Jasper

Learn Piano and Improvisation and practice other languages :)
The most important matter that I could write here about is my passion to teach. I've been teaching already for more than 10 years, from kids to adults. I'm a classical pianist, but I am opened to other musical styles. What I want you to get from your lessons with me, is not only a huge knowledge of theorical stuff or a great technique, I would like to show you my musical world, the imagination and inner exploration that is required to understand and to love music in a whole new level. Once you have found them, it will be very hard to quit playing! The class duration: You can choose! 20 minutes (Great for the youngest : 3 years old) 30 minutes (Ideal for young beginners from 4 years old) 45 minutes (Intermediate+ adult beginners) 1 hour (Intermediate and combined with some Music Theory) I use different methods depending on: 1) The goals of my student 2) The language that we will use on class 3) Age and musical preferences: I start to teach children from 3 years old, we make games and they learn to play through musical stories that I have created throughout my pedagogical career.
