Understanding and knowing how to speak Dutch and English is a major asset in Belgium. I am bilingual French-Dutch and I would like to be able to help other people progress. I adapt to the level of my student. I can give private lessons or academic support lessons. I am also currently continuing my studies in English. I have mastered Dutch since secondary school but perfected my knowledge thanks to a bilingual baccalaureate in political science at ULB in French and Dutch. Then, I studied my master's degree in Leiden in order to be immersed in a Dutch-speaking environment.

If you already know the language, but you cannot pronounce it very well and you want others to understand you, I can teach you the correct accent of that language. It may seem difficult to you at first, but we will practice together via the webcam and you will see that with my help it will only become easier for you. You will pronounce the language well. Practice makes perfect.

As a former primary school teacher and experienced Dutch teacher for adults and children, I enjoy helping others achieve their language goals. Together we will make a plan that fits your personal needs, whether they include exam preparation (Inburgering/Staatsexamen), being able to confidently hold (informal or formal) conversations with friends and coworkers, understanding grammar rules, being able to watch Dutch TV or anything else: I will help you get there! I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson.
