About Me

I'm currently in a research assistant traineeship with the Migration and Development Research Group at Maastricht University's Graduate School of Governance/UNU-MERIT. As a bachelor's student, I studied Photojournalism and worked in the photography department worked at the university's student newspaper. After graduating, I spent the two years in Morocco teaching English and working on my Arabic, which I also studied during my undergraduate.

Moving forward, I'm interested in integrating my journalism and research backgrounds to help bring expertise in migration issues to its discussion in the news as well as infusing research with the power of narrative and storytelling.
