I am a native English speaker from the US with nearly 4 years of formal teaching and tutoring experience. I currently teach high school students here in Kuwait at a private school and I plan on staying in Kuwait for the long term. I have a Masters in International Relations awarded by Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, one of the world's most elite schools for International Relations, economics, and politics. I have taught various subjects including world history, geography, economics, political science, and of course English. I have two certifications in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), one from the International TEFL Academy and the other from the TESOL International Association for teaching English in an online setting. My course content from my certifications included teaching children and adults of all levels as well as teaching for IELTS and other standardized tests. I have taught adults in both in-person and online settings as well as children from the ages of 14 to young adults. I recommend Khalil without a doubt to anyone looking to improve his/her German level in both writing and speaking. He is a very professional, structured and knowledgeable teacher. He was able to immediately evaluate my level of German during the very first lesson and adjust the teaching methodology and materials accordingly. I am truly impressed with his patience and dedication towards teaching the proper German pronunciation with all its complexities and difficulties as well as the proper rules when it comes to grammar and language. We also had lessons using Skype which is also a good option for those who have a limited amount of spare time or are too far apart from the teacher. It is obvious that Khalil loves what he is doing and is willing to put all his effort into his passion. I wholeheartedly recommend Khalil for anyone wanting to learn the language.
