I would love to transfer what I have learnt at GCSE, A-LEVELS and my Degree to students who may not be finding it as unchallenging! My teaching style is very personalised; I want to present the knowledge and then the students develop their own techniques for revision whether that be mind-maps or a song. However, I will also provide my own resources whether that be a quiz or worksheet. I will also test them after every new topic using past exam papers to prepare them for what is to come.

Passing on knowledge and good practices is the most rewarding thing for me. Today I want to transmit the fundamental knowledge to the generations of tomorrow who will be the future actors of the job market, this is prepared from primary school. To be a good teacher, you have to know how to adapt to each student, take into consideration their strengths and areas for improvement, but above all listen to their expectations and possible difficulties when faced with a specific subject, situation, physical and mental state to support them. at best in its own context. Sociology adopts the perspective that individual behaviour can only be understood by studying people's social context and their webs of connection. This can lead the sociologist to many different topics of study from reproduction of inequalities in relation to social categories (such as race, class or gender), to the shaping of intimate relationships by wider cultural contexts, or the generation of resistance and protest by economic trends and crises. Your second and final year course units are usually assessed by a combination of coursework and examination. Other methods of assessment include: essays and other mid-term evaluations, which allow fuller development of and feedback on your knowledge and understanding dissertations, which promote the development of argument and fuller understanding of academic material and test the extent to which you can carry out work independently presentations and group projects, which promote teamwork and develop your communication skills.

I am a recent University of Leeds graduate, with a degree in Sociology. I have studied this for seven years now, with GCSE and A Levels in this subject as well. I am also incredibly passionate about Geography, completing this to A Level standard. Within my studies of these subjects, I touched on politics and world affairs, both of which I am happy to teach. I will assign interesting and engaging homework tasks and will always be there for my students outside of lesson time. I will also let the student decide what particular topics will be taught, focusing on their main interests or any difficult areas.

So many Westerners have hard times understanding the mindset of the average Moroccans, everyday habits, the rationale behind old customs and traditions, what's safe and what's not, what's taboo and what's not, what's funny and what's not, what's religious and what's not, especially that Morocco is historically a rich mixture of many cultures, with the typicality of combining the old and modern at the same time. I agree it's the heck of a challenge!! However, you can forge your own master-key now to a much better and wise social experience in North Africa, being it for marketing, anthropologist, or mere touristic reasons. You can definitely rely on someone like me to make such discovery about the people of this beautiful landscape, as I was born and raised here, loved and learned the English language, and was living in the USA for quite a long time. So, call me either your young or big brother in Morocco (I'm 46). We can possibly adopt a person-to-person approach in our journey (I'm located around Rabat, the capital).

If you are looking for someone to tutor you in social studies, then you are in the right place. I have a bachelor’s in political science (double specialization in Political Economy and International Relations) from the American University in Cairo (AUC). I am also studying a master’s level course in World Politics and International Relations at the University of Pavia (UPI), Italy. My education has been inherently multidisciplinary, considering the liberal arts nature of AUC. This means I have studied across a plethora of fields including political science, world history, sociology, modern literature, philosophy, and anthropology. I have a rich experience when it comes to tutoring! While I flexibly customize my classes to my student’s needs within the social science realm…my main class includes an introduction to political science and theory. If you are looking to understand political theoretical frameworks such as the Liberal, Marxist and Conservative traditions as well as their real-world applications around the world and during significant historical moments, then we will be reading and dissecting these various theoretical approaches. However, I can also tutor on lower academic levels, such as simple sociological research methods, historical analysis, and the like. If you need help writing academic papers, I can also supervise and guide you towards higher quality content. Furthermore, if you struggle with analyzing texts with heavy academic terminology and jargon, we can run several exercises to help improve your comprehension ability. Please, stay safe during this pandemic, and I look forward to working with you. Respectfully, Youssef

The class is to provide any supplementary help with Sociology at A Level. The aim is for it to be casual but to still have focus and clear intent. Sociology allows you to study the world around you. It is in our everyday lives! And, as you might have seen, a lot of theories come from old bearded men in the 20th century. So how can they possibly write about stuff that happens or is relevant in today's society? This is where you can use critical analysis to test how sociology works, and importantly, to use the tools it has given you to question what we take for granted. This is the main task of sociology; to defamiliarise the familiar. My teaching method is very much student-led. It is based on the problems that are brought to me so that they can be dissected, analysed and we can work together to see how to solve the issue. I know how it feels to feel like your question or problem is not worthwhile, or that you might feel a bit silly for not understanding something. However, I can absolutely say that you will never be the only person that has struggled with that particular concept or question (or whatever it may be!). I work on a no-judgement basis! Saying this, a lot of the time, students have an inkling about an answer, or partially understand concepts and theories, and more often than not they have the analytical tools to get there, but might get confused along the way or lack confidence in their abilities. It is simply about working through the issue logically. Sometimes just talking about it out loud can make it clearer! You generally know more than you think you do. It is about having confidence in your ideas. I am on track to receive a high class undergraduate degree in sociology, so hope to utilise the skills I have been developing over the past few years to help you in your studies!
