So many Westerners have hard times understanding the mindset of the average Moroccans, everyday habits, the rationale behind old customs and traditions, what's safe and what's not, what's taboo and what's not, what's funny and what's not, what's religious and what's not, especially that Morocco is historically a rich mixture of many cultures, with the typicality of combining the old and modern at the same time. I agree it's the heck of a challenge!! However, you can forge your own master-key now to a much better and wise social experience in North Africa, being it for marketing, anthropologist, or mere touristic reasons. You can definitely rely on someone like me to make such discovery about the people of this beautiful landscape, as I was born and raised here, loved and learned the English language, and was living in the USA for quite a long time. So, call me either your young or big brother in Morocco (I'm 46). We can possibly adopt a person-to-person approach in our journey (I'm located around Rabat, the capital).

If you are looking for someone to tutor you in social studies, then you are in the right place. I have a bachelor’s in political science (double specialization in Political Economy and International Relations) from the American University in Cairo (AUC). I am also studying a master’s level course in World Politics and International Relations at the University of Pavia (UPI), Italy. My education has been inherently multidisciplinary, considering the liberal arts nature of AUC. This means I have studied across a plethora of fields including political science, world history, sociology, modern literature, philosophy, and anthropology. I have a rich experience when it comes to tutoring! While I flexibly customize my classes to my student’s needs within the social science realm…my main class includes an introduction to political science and theory. If you are looking to understand political theoretical frameworks such as the Liberal, Marxist and Conservative traditions as well as their real-world applications around the world and during significant historical moments, then we will be reading and dissecting these various theoretical approaches. However, I can also tutor on lower academic levels, such as simple sociological research methods, historical analysis, and the like. If you need help writing academic papers, I can also supervise and guide you towards higher quality content. Furthermore, if you struggle with analyzing texts with heavy academic terminology and jargon, we can run several exercises to help improve your comprehension ability. Please, stay safe during this pandemic, and I look forward to working with you. Respectfully, Youssef

Trusted teacher: During my professional experiences, the training and team management component was one that was most important to me. Passing on knowledge and good practices is the most rewarding thing for me. Today I want to transmit the fundamental knowledge to the generations of tomorrow who will be the future actors of the job market, this is prepared from primary school. To be a good teacher, you have to know how to adapt to each student, take into consideration their strengths and areas for improvement, but above all listen to their expectations and possible difficulties when faced with a specific subject, situation, physical and mental state to support them. at best in its own context. Create a relationship of trust to learn with confidence. The class is to provide any supplementary help with Sociology at A Level. The aim is for it to be casual but to still have focus and clear intent. Sociology allows you to study the world around you. It is in our everyday lives! And, as you might have seen, a lot of theories come from old bearded men in the 20th century. So how can they possibly write about stuff that happens or is relevant in today's society? This is where you can use critical analysis to test how sociology works, and importantly, to use the tools it has given you to question what we take for granted. This is the main task of sociology; to defamiliarise the familiar. My teaching method is very much student-led. It is based on the problems that are brought to me so that they can be dissected, analysed and we can work together to see how to solve the issue. I know how it feels to feel like your question or problem is not worthwhile, or that you might feel a bit silly for not understanding something. However, I can absolutely say that you will never be the only person that has struggled with that particular concept or question (or whatever it may be!). I work on a no-judgement basis! Saying this, a lot of the time, students have an inkling about an answer, or partially understand concepts and theories, and more often than not they have the analytical tools to get there, but might get confused along the way or lack confidence in their abilities. It is simply about working through the issue logically. Sometimes just talking about it out loud can make it clearer! You generally know more than you think you do. It is about having confidence in your ideas. I am on track to receive a high class undergraduate degree in sociology, so hope to utilise the skills I have been developing over the past few years to help you in your studies!
Sociology adopts the perspective that individual behaviour can only be understood by studying people's social context and their webs of connection. This can lead the sociologist to many different topics of study from reproduction of inequalities in relation to social categories (such as race, class or gender), to the shaping of intimate relationships by wider cultural contexts, or the generation of resistance and protest by economic trends and crises. Your second and final year course units are usually assessed by a combination of coursework and examination. Other methods of assessment include: essays and other mid-term evaluations, which allow fuller development of and feedback on your knowledge and understanding dissertations, which promote the development of argument and fuller understanding of academic material and test the extent to which you can carry out work independently presentations and group projects, which promote teamwork and develop your communication skills.

Meet even more great teachers. Try online lessons with the following real-time online teachers:
- Lessons are customizable to the student's individual requirements. - Lessons will vary according to the exam board and content the student needs to learn. - Lessons are typically an hour; however, this can be adjusted based on personal requirements. - I aim for my lessons to be as interactive and conversational as possible. I am there to support the student but believe that they will retain knowledge far better if they take the lead on some sessions. - Lessons are targeted at GCSE and A Level students, but I am willing to also tutor KS2 and KS3 too. - I have previous tuition experience working with A-Level students virtually during the pandemic. I am a final year English Literature and History student at Lancaster University and I have a strong passion for teaching the subjects I love! I believe that the humanities are fascinating subjects and would love to help students find enjoyment in them during their academic life. Based on previous tutoring experience, I have helped students work their way up the grade boundaries whilst also discovering a newfound love for their subject! As important as subject content is, I am a big mental health advocate, and so will work with students on stress management, exam techniques and the like in order to make the process of exams and academic stress slightly more manageable. :) On top of tutoring in English, History and Sociology, I love to dance in my spare time as well as blog, read, and write for my uni newspaper.

How not to gaslight yourself, for people outside the "Normal" human being that white, middle and upper class psychiatric professionals have defined as standard. Might be helpful if you want to rid yourself of the colonizer in your head, and maybe help others do the same. Intended for anyone who is not white and/or full citizen of a "first World" (aka colonizing genocidal capitalist) nation. For whites, this is where you can learn to put all that guilt of yours into something useful by becoming co-conspirators in our fight for liberation instead of liberal "allies"

My approach is relaxed but tailored to your needs/weaknesses (we can discuss this early on so we can move forward and work on improving your understanding in these areas). I am, like many students, not a fan of simply reading pages and pages of information, hence why I like to discuss concepts, theories, etc. (making it easier for students to remember information ... the information is also easier to digest this way!). Studying sociology may be a bit daunting at first with the introduction of new keywords and theories, but I am here to try and help ease that process of beginning to study Sociology and to also create an environment for you to openly discuss and air thoughts about the topics in conversation and Sociology in general.

Trusted teacher: I have been studying social sciences since I was 14 and now I'm 21. I would love to transfer what I have learnt at GCSE, A-LEVELS and my Degree to students who may not be finding it as unchallenging! My teaching style is very personalised; I want to present the knowledge and then the students develop their own techniques for revision whether that be mind-maps or a song. However, I will also provide my own resources whether that be a quiz or worksheet. I will also test them after every new topic using past exam papers to prepare them for what is to come.
