Trusted teacher: If- BY RUDYARD KIPLING (‘Brother Square-Toes’—Rewards and Fairies) If you can keep your head when all about you        Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,    If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,     But make allowance for their doubting too;    If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,     Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies, Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,     And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise: If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;        If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;    If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster     And treat those two impostors just the same;    If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken     Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,     And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools: If you can make one heap of all your winnings     And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings     And never breathe a word about your loss; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew     To serve your turn long after they are gone,    And so hold on when there is nothing in you     Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’ If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,        Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch, If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,     If all men count with you, but none too much; If you can fill the unforgiving minute     With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,    Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,        And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son! n/a Source: A Choice of Kipling's Verse (1943)

After-school tutoring followed by the compulsory school program at any school or grade level. Youth may have an opportunity to prepare for the language exam in language structures, reading and listening, writing and speaking. General grammar is learned in a year, learning vocabulary takes much longer. In addition, it is possible to study the Cambridge grammar of the English language or Standard Estonian. Taxi driver may speak six different languages but translators in European institutions can work only in a mother tongue. I can speak & write correctly in Estonian and English, everybody can read books or use translation software. I put intercultural communication into real practice and I also completed the certifications of assistant manager and start-up company and cultural diplomacy. I worked as a teacher of English in a public school in Estonia before I enrolled to take native level English teacher courses from London, UK. Teachers and translators must learn languages from its origin and not from books. I worked in Marseille and attended advanced lessons of French. I also completed Italian language course in Siena, and online Japanese language course from Tokyo, and attended educational psychology conference in Granada, understanding academic Spanish without learning it. Completed short teacher training courses also in Australian English and Canadian French. I own a collection of several language books in European languages, the public library is next to my home. If you want to take online lessons from anywhere in the world then I hope you have basic ICT skills, computer and a good microphone, camera and fast internet. Online leaners can develop the digital literacy.

Arif
Our 7 year old son has had several lessons so far with Arif, and we have had a an excellent experience. We have been sharing the computer screen (using Zoom) with Arif as our son works through problems on Khan Academy. Arif has shown a lot of patience and a willingness to try and try again when our son is having trouble understanding a concept. The lessons have helped to motivate our son, and we are grateful to Arif for his help.
