This is a Literature based English course most suited for high school students with an intermediate to advanced level of preexisting English knowledge; students pursuing university options abroad or English-teaching universities nationally will find this course especially useful. This program is based on the teaching practices and curriculum of American secondary school language education. Its aims are to strengthen reading comprehension ability, develop critical thinking skills, improve expression in a foreign language and encourage deeper analysis, with a secondary focus on vocabulary expansion and grammar correction. If a student regularly fails to complete given homework or is unwilling to learn, I will not be continuing with lessons.
