Amelie - Seoul$26
Trusted teacher: Hi, my name is Amélie, I'm French, from the North of France. For the past 9 years I lived in Montreal, in the beautiful province of Québec in Canada and I recently moved to Seoul. So if you are interested in the Canadian culture, I'll be happy to teach you ;) I have been teaching French online for few years now from beginners to advanced and helped some students prepare for the TEF/DELF exams. My main goal is to help you achieve your own learning goals. So the class is really custom made, according to your needs and adapted to your level, whether you want to focus on conversation, grammar practice, listening or reading comprehension, it will also be adapted to your interests. All types of material will be available, like newspaper articles, novels, TV series, youtube video etc.. We will really work according to theme that you enjoy. Because learning a language should not be a burden but on the contrary be a fun time. I know exactly what it's like to learn a new language, the difficulties that you can encounter, all the efforts that are required, but also the fear of talking to people in the beginning, having myself learn English and Spanish to reach a proficiency level. And I've also been learning Korean for the past 3 years now. Also, since I have some experience in language learning, in addition to our classes, that are either once or several times a week, I definitely recommend self-study. So if you're down, I will give you writing and reading exercises to do, regardless of the level you are at, and I will correct those and we can discuss together at the beginning of each class. I promess i'll make it fun. A bientôt :)

Sarang - Seoul$41
Trusted teacher: Hi all, this is Sarang from S.Korea who's been working as a jazz composer, songwriter, pianist, arranger, improviser, and a producer since 2008. And I've been teaching pop/jazz composition, songwriting, piano-accompaniment as a lecturer in 2 universities located in Gyeonggi province since 2020. I've played the piano since the age of 4, so I can say that music is just part of my life. My students have said that I am talented at making difficult topics easy to understand, and for me to see their growth as artists is a great pleasure. In short, I love teaching and teach well. :) Therefore most of my students at the conservatoire evaluate my class higher than 14.0/15.0 at the every end of semester. Through this lesson you will learn about various aspects of music with piano from my experiences, because I’d love widening my musical spectrum and improving my own musical language by exploring different genres of music. (You will see it through my albums linked below.) What you will learn from this lessons are : 1) playing pop music with piano with chord reading 2) playing jazz music with nice voicing & soloing 3) making your own songs with nice chord progression 4) how to read and write rhythms easily 5) how to make a music score using tools like Sibelius or Musescore 6) how to work on Logic (DAW) with midi-related stuffs (on Mac) ... etc. Well, as you know, it just depends on your goal. Whatever you need, just bring your things to the lesson. :) Add to that, if necessary, according to your level; you could have to start learning from the very basics like how the chords are structured and how to make your muscles (especially your hands, fingers and elbows) soft. Looking forward to meeting new students/friends through this platform! * [Attention] I can reject giving lessons after the 1st meeting with you, according to your attitude or in the case I don’t feel safe. Well, just to make it clear. ;) * [About Location] 1) My idea for this music lesson in English is to make the fee lower for you than the ordinary one because of my English level. Well, anyway I am not native. I usually work from home, so if you come to my house for the lesson, the rate will be lower than how much I get from Korean students. But it's only for the case you come to my place where is close to 'Cheonwang (천왕) Station' which is very left side of the subway line no.7. It usually takes 13 mins by walk from the station to my place, and if you get on the bus at the bus stop right in front of the metro exit #3, you will get off only after a bus stop. 2) The other option? Online lessons through Zoom are also doable at the same fee, but to be honest I don't prefer it because many students are not ready for the necessary equipments. 3) In the case I move to the area near you, Hongik University Station(홍대입구) on Wednesday where I pointed at the map, the payment should be 1.5 times. 4) And for the other area, it could be even higher according to the distance..You might know that Seoul is one of the biggest cities in the world, so I believe that you will understand this. For more info, see the below.

Trusted teacher: Hello, My name is Santiago and I am offering individual and personalized virtual English classes to improve both your oral and written communication. The main focus of my classes is focused on developing fluent and structured communication of the English language either to prepare international exams, including the TOEFL and the FCE, or to be able to communicate properly in the professional field or to reinforce and maintain prior knowledge of this language. I am a graduate, graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in the USA. Having learned English as a child at the Ivy Thomas Memorial School in Uruguay, and lived a year and a half in Thailand, followed by 4 years in the USA I acquired great knowledge and fluency in the English language. In Thailand I spent a year and a half studying communication arts, which helped me, prepare for my studies in the US. I had several communication classes, learning techniques of how to speak better using not only our words but also our body to help us speak more naturally, calmly, and without getting nervous if we get stuck or forget what we wanted to say. During my career in the US, I was constantly writing essays for my classes, in addition to having to present projects in front of my teachers and classmates. At the same time, I was working at university and after graduation I worked for a year, mainly having long phone conversations with people from all over the country. Nowadays the ability to communicate in English is essential and I am going to prepare you so that you can meet your goals. It could be, studying abroad, going to live in an English-speaking country, improving your communication in the professional field, or keep practicing so as not to lose the previously acquired level. If what you are looking for is to improve your knowledge of the English language, I will help you. My methodology is simple. Each person is different and I adapt the content of my classes to the needs and interests of my students. We all learn in different ways and at different times,

Trusted teacher: Bonjour Bonjour; You're maybe planning to travel to France for Business or for vacations...Or you just want to learn French for Academic or professional reasons! My name is Hicham (Here the French spelling of my first name make it sound "HiTChem" in English speaking countries - which i find awful to hear :) so the exact spelling to pronounce it right should be Heesham). And this is the perfect example that Pronounciation is one of the most important matter in French learning; not only for you to be able to understand French words and learn them, but also and mostly to be able to be understood when you speak them. Just like it's hard to understand a new english speaker with a strong foreign accent Imagine: "Un ver vert va vers un verre vert". Which means that a green worm is going towards a green glass. This doesn't make any sense but it illustrates what we call Homonymes. The word homonyme comes from Latin, more specifically as "Homos" (similar) and "onoma" (name). And it get more complicated when Homophones have the same pronounciation but not the same meaning nor the same spelling. Or worst; "Homographes" which are written the same spelling but complete different meaning and pronounciation. And finally the most tricky ones are the perfect Homonymes like:" un TOUR de magie" and la TOUR d'un chateau. (Magic trick and Castle Tower)... But don't worry - You don't need to understand what the Oceans are made of to be able to swim. And this is here I come. I am born in France (born in 1978 in Orleans) - studied in France, Teach French in Morocco, UK, Spain and Italy for Communication Business purposes. I used to teach Sales in French to Non-native French speaker Callcenter Agents in the Philippines lately. Been teaching in English. Yes I have been learning and practicing English since 2012 and I am now perfectly fluent with an accent which is not French :) Yay :) And my role as your French teacher will be to give you the perfect coaching to make you improve your French skills just like I did in French and other languages. Yes, I am the perfect example that anyone can learn a new language and become like a native one. I'm proud when I meet french people speaking english together when they cannot notice my accent and don't know I'm from France until I tell them. Of course, I will provide you all the Grammar, Conjugaison, Orthographe and all the basics modules from the French Academy you need to practice and have a proper French conversation. But not only, I garantee you that you will be able to sing in French.(it will develop your French ear and your pronounciation) My classes are customized for one to one classes or small group of people who want to have a real follow up on your learning evolution. From beginner to advance. It will include private sessions, customized exercises, funny home work... one to one conversations, French songs :) Yes I will sing too. I will give you all the tools and tricks that I used myself to reach my English level. So together, we will make sure to find the right path for you to learn and practice French with a purpose. Contact me if you have questions (the pricing offer is per student for maximum group of 10 people). One to one French coaching can be organized as well; Feel free to contact me A bientot Hicham

David
It is with the utmost admiration and gratitude that I extend my effulgent endorsement for David, the epitome of mathematical tutorship. His fervor for the subject and his pupils is steadfast, and David’s commitment to ensuring proficiency and comprehension is manifest in every tutorial session. His availability is most pliable, as he exhibits a constant readiness to alter his docket to accede to the necessities of his students. This adaptability is rare and precious quality, one that has played a seminal role in my time near the finals. Not only do he demonstrate devotion during his scheduled lessons time, for he is always approachable for additional guidance and support outside his hours. David’s unwavering dedication to the academic success of his students is truly remarkable and deeply appreciated by those who benefit from it. What distinguishes David is not solely his mastery in mathematics, but his amiable and cordial demeanour. He cultivates a genial and hospitable environment; and his pedagogy a harmonious blend of professionalism and conviviality. I consider myself fortunate to have availed myself of David’s instruction, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. In conclusion, if you seek a mathematics tutor, David Devidze should be your first port of call. Learn Korean and Experience Korean Culture with a Qualified Teacher as a Seouler (Seoul)
Kay
This is my first trip to Asia and South Korea. Meeting and getting to know Kay is a gift from heaven for me. Kay is such a wonderful, warm, bright, considerate and open minded teacher and friend. Kay was there for me and with me from the first moment we met in Seoul. She has helped me with handling so many aspects in daily life more than I could ever have asked for. Kay's classes are very interesting and motivating, well organized and lots of fun - a great learning experience. She always pays attention to my paste while studying Korean together. Kay has especially prepared a program for me, so I am not only able to experience the language but also many other aspects of the Korean culture and living. Some experiences/moments we have shared together: - Cooking some Korean dishes - Eating Korean food (Kay took me to restaurants which I would never have been able to find on my own) - Listening to Korean classical music during two concerts - Visiting Seodaemun, Museum of National History - Wearing a Hanbok, the Korean traditional costume I can recommend Kay to anyone not only wanting to learn Korean but more so experiencing the Korean culture and living. I am and will always be grateful to have been able to meet and cross paths with Kay.

Korean Language Lessons for Beginners (alphabet/vocabulary/grammar/...) (Genk)
Severine
In my head (only there just there) I already know a lot of Korean words. But when I try to talk I can't make 1 sentence out of it. That's why I wanted private lesson. What I really like about Severine is that she is very patient, she keeps up with my pace. Once I understand the material I'd like to move on, Palli Palli! She is a good explainer and because of that I'm feeling more and more confidence to talk (and write) in Korean. I already can Write my name in the sand, but soon I will be able to... Talk to myself for hours.. ..Say things that You WILL understand ;)
