Lydie - Paris$34.07
Trusted teacher: My courses are for beginner or intermediate adults and children who are not at the conservatory and who require home schooling. I adapt to the level and the desire of everyone for a constant evolution. Classes begin with a warm up of the fingers with appropriate exercises, then we start working on a study and we will continue with the work on one or two pieces. If you do not know music theory, I give you explanations of music theory during the violin class. For beginners: we work the rightness, the sound, the place of the fingers, the flexibility of the fingers, the deciphering of partition, the different positions with the violins, the effects (vibrato, staccato, pizzicato) For intermediate students: we work on studies and pieces and work where there are gaps or areas for improvement. The goal is always to gain fluidity, accuracy and technique to play even more beautiful songs and a higher level. Violin
Trusted teacher: Passionate about music since childhood, I offer piano lessons, depending on your level, and music that you like! While creating a repertoire, we will work the ear, the rhythm, the technique, and if you wish the sound palette * ... I focus on practice, improvisation, and the relationship between you and your instrument in order to have fun on your piano. Okay, but what are we doing? The basics: - silence, pulsation - harmony (scales, chords, intervals) - rhythm (binary, ternary, swing, shuffle) - the sound (technique, nuance) - the coding of the English chords (A = la, E- = E minor, etc.) - the musical culture and the different ways of listening to music A choice: - improvisation (learning to play without partition, becoming able to play with anyone, anytime) - group music in general (the modern keyboard, the different roles of the instruments in a group) - jazz (standarts, swing, notions of harmonies and improvisation) - rock, funk (notions of groove, rhythmic placement, search for sounds, pentatonic scales and frequent modes) - sound effects (reverb, delay, wah wah, phaser, distortion, etc.) - music games for children The instrument remains a tool to make music, so we will work to become a MUSICIAN (with the help of a piano). Any age, any level (to be evaluated during the first class) -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- --------- * The sound palette is a metaphor for evoking the "instrumental colors" in music. example of Rock palette: bass / drums / guitar / vocals example of Jazz palette: saxophone / double bass / piano The advantage for the keyboard player is that he can change his sound. There are many sounds other than the acoustic piano (Harpsichord / Clavinet, Organ / Electric Organ, Fender Rhodes, Synthesizers ...) -------------------------------------------------- ----- My influences (in bulk): Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, George Duke, Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Thelonious Monk, Bud Powell, Red Garland, Funkadelic / Parliament, James Brown, Prince, George Benson, John Scofield, Hendrix, Zappa, Stanley Clarke, Al di meola, Paco de lucia, Bob marley, Jackie Mitoo, Kenny Garett, Bill Evans, The Brecker Brothers, Return to Forever, Mahavishnu, Led Zep, Dire Straits, The Rolling Stones, Jeff Mills, Robert Hood Carl Craig, Aphex Twin, Tadeo, Jeroen Search and many more !!!

Professeur dîpômé, enseignant la guitare classique en conservatoire, je propose des cours de guitare tous niveaux (débutants bienvenus aussi (Pantin)
Sébastien
I have played guitar (self-taught) for many years, but on classical guitar I am a beginner. While visiting Paris I had two lessons with Sébastien at his place. Before starting we had coffee and talked to get to know each other and plan the lessons and what music to work on. During the lessons he gave valuable input on technique, sound and interpretation, and many suggestions for exercises and further study. Sébastien speaks good English, he is very patient and friendly, but also enthusiastic and knowledgeable about music. I was not able to bring my own guitar, but he let me use one of his, and even loaned me one so I could practice in my hotel room between lessons. Highly recommended!
