I'm a native English speaker and a UC San Diego graduate with a good deal of experience teaching English to students of all ages and nationalities. I'm an upbeat and easy-going person, and I aim to create an open and unintimidating atmosphere to learn with my students. I am able to teach spoken and written English, grammar, pronunciation, and reading skills to all ages. I give my lessons according to my students' needs; an advanced English lesson could consist of high-level literature analysis, while I am also able to keep young students engaged with fun games, props, and general edutainment. I am also available to teach critical thinking, advanced listening and reading skills, and to help with university applications or proofreading. I have taught English privately for a number of years.
