I cannot recommend Jade highly enough. I had three lessons with her during my visit to Paris, focusing on listening comprehension and my pronunciation and grammar, in a very informal, conversational sort of way. She was very encouraging and incredibly patient with my listening difficulties, good at finding multiple ways to say things until I could understand. She listens intently and her corrections are very gentle and with good humor. She also had many wonderful suggestions of exercises to do to improve on my own time. She's interested in language itself too, and had interesting anecdotes about the structure and etymology of French that made it easier for me to remember certain vocabulary or rules. She's a wonderful teacher and a fun, enthusiastic person. Highly, highly recommended.
