First of all I would like to thank Kelly once again for her work. We did an entire semester together and not once did she lose patience with me. I had difficulty grasping the concept of p-value, Kelly explained it to me over and over. She would draw me pictures and ask me questions to see if I understood. And when that wasn't the case, she explained it again without making me feel stupid. What I like about her classes is that she gave me time to think and understand alone, if I didn't find the answer, she gave me clues. This allowed me to deepen my reasoning. In addition, she gave me self-confidence and encouraged me in my thoughts, which helped me a lot when I did the Tds alone. We did all the TDs on Statistica together. She guided me through the procedures and gave me tips to better understand the reason for using a particular approach and such a test. She also sent me exercises by email to practice more. The last few classes, she gave me timed exercises to get me into the swing of things before the big day, which gave me confidence and considerably reduced my apprehension about the exam. To summarize, our classes together gave me a better understanding of statistics and the Statistica program. Kelly is very educational and patient, which helps the student understand concepts not yet acquired. She is very involved in her students' learning and encourages them to do their best. Her kindness and thoughtfulness make her an EXCELLENT tutor for me. I recommend her without hesitation! AND, I got a 6 on my TD exam. Without her, I would not have achieved such a result.
