Marita is a great teacher. From the very first minutes with her I could notice that she has a lot of experience as a singer and as a teacher. I used to be ashamed of my voice. I was so afraid of sounding bad and damaging my voice that I would not even try to sing anything out of my comfort zone. But Marita is giving me confidence and guiding me through the learning process, where I learn about singing and about my sound by practising. After only 3 classes with Marita, I have learned about myself, my voice range and my sound. I have learned warming up exercises and singing techniques that work for me. In the classes, I work together with Marita on different songs with different styles, focusing on intonation, diction, interpretation, breathing, singing style and other factors. Having the classes in English works great even though it is not our native language. The fact that the lessons are online is also going well for the moment, despite some eventual connection/latency problems. I will continue with these lessons because I can feel how I am improving every week. Having a plan for singing, exercises and songs to work on, gives me motivation to try to find some time every day for it, and I enjoy these moments a lot. Communication by email for preparing content for following lessons and through Apprentus for scheduling these lessons works good for us as well. I can only recommend to everyone these classes and thank Marita for her work.
