CandicePrivate Dutch language lessons at primary and secondary level
Trained translator with five years of experience, notably in international institutions in Europe and America, I offer tutoring courses for the Dutch language from primary level to the end of secondary level. It is mainly a question of reviewing, with the pupil or the student, the subject which poses a problem for him, but I also adapt to the specific requests of the pupils or the students. I can give grammar lessons as well as pronunciation lessons, oral comprehension, etc. Serious guaranteed. The course can be done face-to-face at my home or by videoconference (Skype, Teams, Zoom, WhatsApp, etc.)
MartinaDoes your child have a delay in the Dutch language. Register now!!
I specialize in the Dutch language. I go out to challenge the children to be able to use this language write, and understand. The student will receive homework after each lesson and will also receive periodic evaluation reports. This lesson is for children who do not completely master the Dutch language and have problems with pronunciation. The point is that you learn to read, write and understand it and learning to articulate it is of great importance. If you know Dutch spelling (present tense and past tense) you have everything under control. Everything is easier if you master and can speak the Dutch language.
CarolinaDutch conversation lessons for children, teenagers and adults
My way of teaching is including having fun. Why?! It can be really "scary" to learn a different language, but not with me! I will make you feel confident in speaking another language, so you will be ready to explore more and more by yourself in time. We will focus on listening, pronunciation and conversation. We will do this by reading, listening and I will be explaining the Dutch grammar step by step. Afterwards I will challenge you with some homework you need to prepare for the next time ;) Ready for this challenge? See you in my class than!!!
PetraImprove your Dutch - Improve your Dutch! Adapted to your wishes. Tailored to your needs.
I like to keep it varied - a fun lesson but with loads of grammar improvement, vocabulary but also games to consolidate these. Lessons are tailor-made to what you want. I use several books and methods to make your lesson topnotch. I teach online via Zoom or here in my home. Every lesson I sent all details home so you can revise what we have done and you can see your homework. I am a Certified Teacher of Dutch as an Additional Language and I have a University Degree in teaching Dutch Language and Literature from Leiden University. I have specialized in teaching Dutch as a Second Language at Hogeschool Amsterdam. I have lived abroad for 17 years so know a lot of living abroad. Having been an expatriate myself I like teaching people from other cultures. I speak good English and have some understanding of German, French and Spanish. I have been teaching Dutch since 1995 in the States - in Iowa - and since 2016 in Leiden - when I came back from living in Scotland, South East Asia and the States - in my own little company Doses of Dutch. Since 2019 I teach two groups of students in Wassenaar for four mornings a week as well. Usually people buy a package of ten lessons. For some children an hour long lesson is too long and they have 45 minute lessons.
BaşakTurkish Lessons (In-Person OR Online) for Adults and Kids from an Experienced and Patient Teacher For All Levels-Learn&Practice&Speak!
I have been teaching Turkish for 17 years. I started to teach when I was studying Turkish Language and Literature. I worked in a language school and at the universities, I suppose that I gained success. 😊 My achievements are directly proportional to my students’ success. My students are mostly teachers, consulate officers, international business people, and also travelers. I feel rewarded when I witness their progress in applying their Turkish language skills to their daily lives. Over the years, I have met hundreds of people from all over the world, taught Turkish, and told them about Istanbul and Turkey. Those people told me about their countries and learned to express themselves in Turkish. For example, I ask them: “Do you like Istanbul?” in Turkish it is “İstanbul’u surveyor museum?” or “ Traffic is very bad in Istanbul!”, “İstanbul’ da çok Trafik var!” The basic but correct conversation is really important for self-confidence in any language. If a learner can master basic sentence forms, the rest will come much easier. On the other hand, making mistakes is also very important. Especially, a learner can not speak without making a mistake the first and second time. My students are always varied and have diverse learning skills. My professionalism also allows me to tailor language education according to individual interests, needs, and capacities. In the classroom, I hold firm three main principles: first, providing a comfortable environment, second, creating an encouraging atmosphere, and third, establishing a collaborative instruction model. I consider that I developed an aptitude for making learning Turkish to become much easier, enjoyable, and practical for my students. I use a book prepared by a university in Turkey. I share the pdf version of the book for my lessons. I also adapt the materials according to the learner’s needs and support the book with my authentic materials. Even though I use a communicative approach, all my lessons are guided by a solid knowledge of grammar. On the online lessons, I send an e-mail after every lesson. That word file includes a vocabulary list, sentences (corrected and uncorrected versions, you can compare both of them easily), grammar point,s and homework for revision. In this way, you can find everything in a file well organized. When we have a face to face lesson, I give a hard copy of this list after every lesson. The lessons could be at my home office or in my student's house or office. I sometimes meet with my students in a coffee shop, I try to prefer silent places. :) How learning a new language opens a new window into a person, teaching Turkish is also the same for me! I was always interested in languages - I could speak a bit of Italian and learned Persian grammar except English. I always think about Istanbul -I was born and grew up here- it is a good place for self-improvement. First and foremost, Istanbul hosts international people coming from around the world. It is considering to me, I am lucky because I have one of the pleasant professions. When teaching Turkish, promoting cross-cultural awareness forms an important part of my lessons. Teaching the language involves both the students and myself in a dynamic conversation about our cultural backgrounds. Teaching Turkish is in fact not only teaching a language but also teaching a culture. I am interested in cinema, music and like visiting museums. I always share the activities with my students. I also teach Turkish to young learners. I started to study Child Development at Istanbul University as a second university in 2018. We say in Turkish, “Studies have no age!" If you want to speak Turkish well, please contact me. It is fun, and we will smile during the lesson!
MimiDutch for beginners in Breda / Dutch for native English speakers / Dutch for native Italian speakers
I am an experienced teacher and I speak four languages. I moved to the Netherlands five years ago and had to learn Dutch. So I am perfectly aware of the challenges people face when they move to a new country and try to learn a new language as adults. I think that my personal experience can benefit others who are struggling to learn Dutch. I hold a bachelor's degree in teaching of Italian language and Art History from Ljubljana University in Slovenia. My experiences as a teacher have given me the opportunity to interact with a variety of student populations and engage them in learning. Originally from Slovenia I have lived and worked in four different countries because of my husband's film post-production professional. In the Netherlands I taught Italian at Buas University - Tourism and Management and English Conversation at Gilde Baronie Apart from my teaching experience I was also a performer, illustrator and movement teacher.
MarcelDynamic Dutch courses with a smiling native speaker ;-)
I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.
MarleenDutch for non-native speakers, conversation, pronunciation and grammar
Dutch conversation, pronunciation and grammar. Are you Spanish or English speaking and would you like to learn Dutch for work, education or social contacts: Then you have come to the right place! I speak fluent Spanish and English so can explain grammar in your own language. I adapt my lessons to the level and wishes of my students. And "last but not least"....... Learning should be fun! I take care of that with varied teaching materials and a joke every now and then.
LiesbetDutch lesson for non-native speakers and (non-native) children
As non-native parents it is certainly not easy to teach your children Dutch or to help with the fluency of the new language. Who wants some extra exercise for his children? I can help you with that. As their vocabulary becomes more and more extensive and their sentences become increasingly fluid, your children will get more and more self-confidence. Good mastery of the Dutch language is certainly in their favor both now and later. Do your children need some help with their homework, especially with their Dutch, then I can help with that. Even as non-native-speaking adults, it is sometimes difficult to have enough exercise. That is why adults who want to make progress in speaking the Dutch language are welcome here! We can practice the everyday language together. Conversing is the best way to learn a new language.
MarianneDutch for all Dutch and / or non-native speakers!

FawziArabic lessons: Language and communication [ONLINE]
I am a teacher, an academician. I speak Arabic (it's my mother tongue), French, Spanish, a little English and a little Turkish. I give lessons in Arabic, language and communication, with an effective pedagogy so that everyone can speak fluently while avoiding grammatical gaps. I explain all my lessons to foreigners by webcam, because I am in Morocco, in Rabat. I present my courses in French, Arabic or Spanish, depending on your choice. During the session I explain the course that suits your needs. There is also the option to create an open discussion so that you can speak fluently over time and avoid grammatical gaps. And at the end of each session, I give "lessons" with "exercises" to do as homework to continue our accompaniment and increase your level.

AdriaanDutch for all levels, for kids, teenagers and adults.
I teach Dutch to beginners, intermediate and advanced levels. I am from Rotterdam, so I am a Dutch native speaker. During the lessons I write all the information on a Google doc. After each session I assign homework for the next session. Between two sessions students can always ask me any question about the things we discussed in the lesson. I am bilingual Spanish/Dutch so I can use Spanish, English, but also German as a bridge language.
