Speaking languages is great skill to communicate in everyday life. You need it for work, traveling or just for fun I am here to help. I am a greek native and I teach greek or english to spanish, greek or english speakers. If you want to perfect your english or greek please feel free to contact me.

I give my classes based on each student's needs. Whether you want to focus on written professional English/Greek or simply conversational English/Greek, I will adapt to what fits you most. We will focus on grammar, spelling, reading, as well as pronunciation skills, and have conversations around your preferable choice of topics. Last but not least, apart from using the traditional teaching methods I am extremely keen on using the experiential learning method, which makes my classes both interesting and fun. Latin, although technically a 'dead language' is still very usual to know nowadays. If you like learning new languages and the history behind them, this class is for you. Be prepared to learn lots of vocab, a bit of grammar and enjoy learning. If you are already taking Latin for GCSE and are struggling or just want some extra support this is also for you. I am a current A Level Latin student, who also takes Classics and Maths, student- predicted A* for Latin and Classics and I achieved a grade 9 (A*) for my Latin GCSE. I am capable of teaching both the Cambridge Latin Course and the John Taylor, 'Latin to GCSE' textbook so I can help tutor to your preference if you have one. I enjoy tutoring and already have some experience, so please attend if you are eager to learn something new and unconventional.

Pour ceux qui préparent un concours, une formation plus poussée pour atteindre la performance requise sera proposée. Les latinistes débutants ou avancés pourront maîtriser les subtilités de la morphologie, de la syntaxe et de la conjugaison latines. Ils seront en mesure de lire et comprendre des textes, acquérir du vocabulaire, connaitre l'histoire de la civilisation romaine. Pour les non-latinistes désireux d'acquérir des connaissances en latin, ce cours permettra d'avoir une bonne initiation à cette langue classique. Ils vont lire, comprendre des structures simples à complexes, accéder en toute autonomie à des textes pour accroitre leur culture générale ou les besoins de leur activité. Pour les adultes anglophones ou arabophones dans le besoin d'étudier la langue française, ce cours permettra de communiquer en français pour être autonomes dans les échanges quotidiens.

I offer personalised tuititon in Latin for A-Level, with the ability to teach any set text and paper for any exam board. I believe that tutoring should be a dialogue between the pupil and tutor, tailored to the former's needs in order to help them achieve their maximum potential. My experience in Learning Support means that I have a heightened awareness of the different barriers to learning that students may experience, and how best to empower the students to overcome them. My lessons are fun and dynamic, marked by a rigorous approach to the subject matter and lively conversation. The goal is that the student will come to share my love of the subject and develop their own abilities to achieve their target grade.

I studied Latin for 6 years (high school and university) and read the works of (among others) : -Ovidius -Virgil -Horace -Civero -Catullus I assign homework and after I receive it, correct it thoroughly additionally providing a lot of remarks/examples if they are necessary. During my lessons I use : - Skype/Whatsapp/Messenger to connect with you, - Google Docs to keep notes, which you can check at any time and they are yours to keep, - sketch board me to make mind maps to show connections between ideas, etc. - books, PPP, word docs, diagrams, pics, etc. I adore my profession and desire each and every one of my students be satisfied with the lesson. That's why I make sure the atmosphere is stress-free and nice. I also want my lessons to be as effective as possible. Therefore, I make sure they are well-prepared, although they can be altered at any point, should such an opportunity arise. I like explaining things in a variety of ways as well as make use of dictionaries, diagrams, etc. When it comes to students who want to sit an exam, I am very demanding. Après avoir étudié la langue et la littérature française à l'Université Aristote de Thessalonique qui est ma ville natale, j'ai commencé à donner de cours particuliers de FLE surtout à des adultes.Je m'occupe de l'enseignement depuis 10 ans. C'est récemment que je me suis installée à Sofia où je donne quelques cours à l 'Institut Français de la ville (IFB). De plus, si tu veux apprendre à parler le grec avec confiance, je suis là pour t'aider. Avec moi, tu peux apprendre le grec comme on le parle vraiment ! Enfin, pendant le cours j'aime bien pratiquer la langue cible (soit le français soit le grec) et j'aime utiliser des documents authentiques. J'ai hâte !

I have high standard qualifications from 3 different universities -Panteion Greece, St Thomas polytechnic Singapore and Harvard University ,lots of experience and most importantly I take seriously my job and duties.
