My name is Amit, a classical-contemporary and improvisation trained saxophonist.
I have studied in Israel, France, and Switzerland.

As winner of numerous International music competitions, I had the privilege to play as soloist in some of the best concert halls in Europe and Israel, such as the Philharmonie Berlin, Kölner Philharmoniker, etc., as well as under the baton of several renowned conductors, among which are Zubin Mehta, Andrés Orozco-Estrada, etc.

About Me

Amit, an Israeli-born saxophonist, studied in Tel Aviv with Gan Lev.
Received AICF scholarships in 2005-2009 as a member of the Kfar Saba and Tel Aviv Saxophone Quartets, and with distinction in 2009-2014 as a solo saxophone player.
Amit has received grants and scholarships from the French Embassy in Israel, as well as from the “Tzfunot Tarbut” Association.
Amit has played with the IPO (Israel Philharmonic Orchestra), the ISO, the Jerusalem symphony orchestra, OPS (Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg) and more.
Played as a soloist with various orchestras in Israel (Israeli Chamber Orchestra, Netanya-Hakibutzim Orchestra), as well as in Europe (Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg).
Furthermore, he has played under the baton of Maestro Zubin Mehta, Asher Fisch, David Stern, Frederic Chaslin, Omer M. Wellber, Alessandro Tortato, Andrés Orozco Estrada, and more.
Together with Israeli percussionist Oded Geizhals, Amit has founded in 2010 a saxophone and percussion ensemble, which specialized in Contemporary music. The ensemble performed music by the best Israeli young composers working nowadays, along with conventional and well known music by composers from all over the world.
Winner of the “Concours de Jeunes Talents” in Strasbourg (2014), following which he has played the famous Rhapsodie by Claude Debussy with the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra.
Winner of the prestigious François Shapira Prize for woodwinds in the “Aviv” Competitions, Israel. (2015).
In 2016, Amit won 2nd prize in the 1st Rising Stars Grand Prix International Music Competition, Berlin
Amit is currently pursuing his Masters studies in ZHdK in the class of Prof. Lars Mlekusch.

Hello My name is Kay and I specialise in Saxophone and music learning for any level - from learning foundations and fundamentals of music. My goal is to motivate and encourage anyone who has an interest in learning and playing the saxophone through different styles! These sessions are for people who want to gain some different skills and perhaps unleash an unknown talent for music and the saxophone! You will learn a variety of saxophone techniques which will be suited for your learning and be provided a comprehensive music learning experience. If there are additional requirements that would like to be explored, there are always possibilities for these situations! I am happy to assist with any questions and preferences in music styles and genres.

What do I offer you? Sax lessons for all levels, from children to professionals, piano lessons for amateurs up to the intermediate level and solfege classes. For example if you want to start playing the saxophone, but he has no basic knowledge of music, I can work with you all, the bass technique of the instrument, the rhythm, singing, ear works, history of music. Or if you want to do a competition or you want to prepare the entrance exam for the conservatory or the university, I can prepare you with the security that we will do a good job together. Áyax studied piano and saxophone at Conservatorio profesional de música "Oreste Camarca" of Soria and graduated at the age of 17. He continues his studies Superior at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón with Federico Coca and Mariano García. In 2014, he joined CNSMD of Paris and finishes his studies by obtaining his price saxophone with the mention Très Bien in 2017. Currently He continues his development as part of a Master at the ZHdK from Zürich in the class of Lars Mlekusch. He won the College of Spain / INAEM Music Performance Award in 2016, in Paris, which allows him to record a CD by the end of 2018, the First Prize at the Creación Joven Festival of Soria, Spain, and the 5th Prize at the 1st International Competition of Andorra Sax Fest. He was supported during his Parisian studies at the CNSMDP by the Tarrazi Fund, the Meyer Foundation and the Jabès Foundation. It was heard with the Army Harmony Orchestra of the French air, the harmony band and the saxophone ensemble of the CSMA (Spain), the young Symphony Orchestra of Soria (Spain), the contemporary music ensemble "Listening" of the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris, and the ensemble of saxophones and the CNSMDP harmony orchestra, and as a soloist with, for example, the Kammart Ensemble.

Hi there! Do you have interest in learning saxophone or do you like music and would like to discover its fundamentals? My name is Joan Jordi, I'm from Spain and have been living and studying in Zurich for two years. My main specialization is the saxophone, which I have been studying in Spain and completing a Master Degrees at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste. During my studies in Spain I have been teaching in a music school, specially children in between 7 and 16 years old, and some adults privately.
