This course is intended for the student wishing to learn the tricks and reliable recipes that will allow him to pass his exams in the first session. This course addresses time management, learning techniques, stress management, self-confidence, the balance of study and relaxation. In a few hours of training, the student is ready to start (or re-start) his new job as a university student. A minimum of 4 hours is recommended.

Hello, I have extensive experience with students of all ages as a teacher of music theory, violin and viola. Custom classes, focused on student interests. I studied violin degree at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo in Spain and viola in Spain and at the Utrechts Conservatorium. The research of my final exam was about well-being and phisical education to improve and accelerate the learning process. I want my students to be aware of the importance of good posture and technique in order to enjoy the learning process without problems.

I am a professional violinist currently living in Groningen. This course is for viola and violin students from the beginner through the high school level, and any age from 5-99! My goal is for my students to foster a healthy and long-term relationship with their instrument. The course focuses on practicing and truly understanding technique, with an emphasis on listening. Weekly assignments tend to include technical exercises, scales, and classical pieces of the student's choice. Basic improvisation is also an interest of mine and, I find, a valuable experience for my string students. I believe repertoire is largely a matter of student taste. Students of mine have learned pieces in the Suzuki books and other classical repertoire volumes, but have also learned pop and fiddle songs according to their interest. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Violin Performance from the University of Puget Sound, where I graduated in 2015 before moving to Vienna to study privately for three years. I am currently on hiatus from a Master of Viola Performance degree at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where I study with Ásdís Valdimarsdottir. I have been teaching violin intermittently since 2009. While my musical education is classical, my performance interests are much wider. I have performed jazz and pop improv, and am currently exploring how hip hop can be implemented on the viola and violin.

I am a professional violinist graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and holding a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I am currently pursuing a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have ten years of teaching experience in the Netherlands ( privately and at music schools: Hart Muziekschool in Haarlem and Vioolstudio 020! in Amsterdam). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes.

Hello! My name is Sara, and I'm a Spanish violinist living in Ghent! I jdid my Master studies in the Royal Conservatorire of Antwerp. For some years I teach children of different ages and levels, both in Belgium and in Spain. Public speaking is one of the most scary things for human beings. For some, this can be extremely disabling and hinder their entire career. But this apprehension concerns a very large percentage of the population and crosses all categories of age, sex or socio-professional environment. If you are in this case, you can start by reassuring yourself: you are not alone! The second good news is that it works! It is by practicing that you will learn how to lower the level of stress, to be more aware of what you have to do and to be well prepared. To practice, I offer private lessons: a benevolent and demanding environment that will allow us to adapt to your specific needs. Once you have understood your fears and learned to overcome them, speaking (in public, meeting) may be a great source of fun!

My violin lessons are shaped in relation to the student's age, goals and interests. I have experience in teaching to children as well as adults and I like the student to have fun while learning such a wonderful thing as playing music. If you are a beginner I'll start with the basic theory, but always in combination with practical approach on the instrument. I'm mostly working with classical music, but I'm also into other genres and I'm very open to help you in any way I can. I teach violin since 2001, to children from the age of 3 and even adults. I organize concerts for my students at least once a year. The love for music helps me develop a strong bond with my students that leads them to love the violin and rejoice in it. Classes are in French, English and Greek.
