About Me
My name is Daniel, am from Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria. My mother's language is Ibibio, I am fluent in English, French and I also have little knowledge of Spanish.I have over three years of teaching experience. My teaching subjects are French and English which I specialize in teaching such as conversation skills, grammar lessons, general knowledge, adults, children and pronunciation.
Education
I have a bachelor's degree in art education. My area of specialization is French education but I can teach the English language. I have a teaching license in French and English.Experience / Qualifications
From January 2009 to August 2010, I gave French lessons to 30 primary and secondary students, which allowed 25 of them to obtain the highest possible grade.I composed and produced my own class material.
From March 2020 to June 2021, I met and collaborated with parents of students to set realistic learning goals.
I created simulations of secondary exams in French.
From July 2021 to December 2021, I provided students with weekly progress notes, setting learning goals and tracking their improvement.
I received 95% positive feedback from students for their competence and accessibility.
I am currently a tutor at Compass Tutoring Team, Canada; Learning Cooperative of Princeton, Canada and Afghan Women's Center of Montreal, Canada. Where I prepare children and adults to speak, read and write in French.
I have a Higher Diploma in French Language issued by the Ministry of National Education (DALFC1); Radio Listener's Club RFI Lagos certificate in French language; second best student certificate in the annual French language essay writing competition, National Examination Board and a teacher's license issued by the National Commission for Higher Schools of Education.
