I usually make them very dynamic so that students learn quickly and effectively. I can do group classes although I prefer to do them individually so I can focus on the difficulties of each one. When a student has an advanced level (higher than B2) I like to do debates of all kinds, games adapted to age, talk and compare different countries, exchange ideas, cultures, etc. 60 minutes goes a long way! I give private classes, mainly English or Spanish classes. But there are also several basic level subjects that I can teach for children up to 4th grade. Regarding the methodology of my classes, I like to teach based on significant content, related to the interests and needs of the students to foster interest in the subject. Therefore, I try to design activities and exercises that are governed by a context that is enjoyable and fun for the student instead of teaching from dense theory and isolated words or phrases. I like to transmit the language as a communicative need and not as an academic process. That is, teach the language for daily life, not just to fulfill a subject.

I have taught Spanish for more than 18 years to people from all over the world and of all ages. Learning a new language can sometimes be difficult, but with motivation and confidence it is possible. I have consistently seen my students improve and enjoy speaking Spanish over the years. I know everyone is different - that's why I adapt the classes to the needs of each individual.
