EliseGerman tutoring by graduate university
University graduate in German language and literature (Master of Arts in German with specialization in Medieval Languages and Literature) with a solid experience gives private German lessons for all levels.
Courses adapted according to the needs of the student. They aim to consolidate concepts, fill in gaps, prepare for exams (maturity, compulsory school leaving certificates, entrance exams to gyms, university, Goethe Zertifikat up to C1) and / or learn about language.
For school supports:
It is above all a work on the long term. Therefore, any exercise is explained in detail, which can make its execution slower: the quality is priority to the quantity in order to obtain an optimal result in the long term. Students bring their own course material (notebooks, books, audio CDs, dictionaries, assessments, etc.). It is important to note that only my presence and my explanations are not enough to obtain satisfactory results. That's why I take the time to "learn to learn" effectively.
For conversation classes:
Topics are based on interests and / or specific needs for exam preparation. I give special importance to pronunciation, fluency and vocabulary. Depending on the level of the students and / or their expectations (preparation exams / assessments / desire for improvement for example), I work on the choice of appropriate words, grammatical accuracy, the ability to formulate more or less complex sentences.
For exam preparations:
The courses offer to acquire solid tools to learn how to write, to comment on literary texts and a methodology to work on the oral comprehension. The student will have to bring his own booklet of exam preparations available in all bookstores. For the Gothe Institute examinations, the Cornlesen exam books are particularly suitable. The other alternative would be to download AND PRINT before the beginning of the course an examination copy of GOETHE INSTITUT available on the site of the institute itself.
For the oral comprehension:
work from visual audio views downloaded from the DEUTSCHE WELLE website, which offer various recordings adapted to all levels, with a very concrete approach. The student acquires long-term fluency not only in oral comprehension, but also enriches his basic vocabulary through exercises. I am also working on the oral tests of the Goethe Institute to familiarize with oral.
For the work of the written expression:
I begin by explaining in the first lesson some methodological tools to acquire writing skills. The student has the opportunity to start writing during the course or do a writing exercise on duty and give it to me to correct (send by email or at the beginning of the next lesson). The corrections are explained in detail. In addition, at the time of booking, the student can send me a draft copy before the lesson so that I can meet his needs even more quickly.
Apart from my presence with the student, any course involves a preparation time before and after the lesson, especially for the work that I correct. My goal is to design an individualized course, so I take the time to write detailed comments on corrected work or tips to ensure maximum success for everyone. In addition, each student can contact me at any time outside the course by email if necessary.

SebastianGerman course for adults, students or kids! (All skill levels)
Do you want to learn or improve German?
Do you or does your child need to prepare for exams at school or University?
I am a German native speaker and general language enthusiast. Besides German I speak English, Swedish, Spanish and Italian. Having learned multiple languages myself I am sure that I can successfully teach you German in a fun and relaxed manner. My focus lies on speaking the language from day one. Immersion is key to language learning. Think of small children. They are language geniuses. Why? Because they speak as soon as their brains permit them to speak, without worrying about making mistakes. Therefore, it is paramount to start using the newly learned words immediately in order to prime our brains to get comfortable with the new language.
Do you already have German knowledge? No problem! Instead of building the basics with focus on grammar and vocabulary, we can design a classes that meet your personal needs and preferences.
My classes combine speaking, listening & grammar exercises in interaction with me. Furthermore, I show you the best technological tools (homepages and applications) to boost your language learning and take it to the next level!
I am extremely confident that you very soon will have the same success that I have had in learning languages!
I look forward to hearing from you!

VittoriaEnglish, Italian, French and German history art and language
Since a young age I fell in love with languages and different currents of literature. I grew up listening to my mom speaking French and my dad speaking German. I am conducting my BA at Leiden University in English, I learnt Mandarin, and am now studying Arabic. I would like not only to help with test preparation or schoolwork: I want to give as much as I can of the beauty and life that is in languages. I try to trigger interest and engagement, I give homework after every session, feedback, wrap ups and extra material.
In Milan, where I grew up, my grandmother would read for me good night stories in French and Spanish. I studied German for around ten years and lived in Germany and in Austria, where I took language courses at the University of Vienna: what really fascinated me about German was the literature. Same goes for French, which I studied for five years, obviously while regularly visiting my French part of the family in Provence. During those five years I also studied English, French and German literature and history. I spent one year in Hebei, China: a region where, luckily enough, they speak Mandarin and not a dialect. I have now been studying and working in the Netherlands for one year and a half and I am taking Arabic.
