For over 10 years I've tutored people of all ages and abilities in different musical fields. All from classical music to mixing your own pieces and songs. I am able to teach theory, composition and playing music from young children to adult syllabus study. I have Music and Music Technology qualifications and have been playing and writing music the majority of my life. Since 2015 I have been a private guitar tutor, teaching face to face and online. I cover a broad range of genres and have helped players build a strong foundation for anything from pop to metal. Most of my students pursue guitar as a hobby or a creative outlet, writing songs or performing in bands. I have also helped players prepare for Trinity Rock & Pop or GCSE exams. I provide written notes and video material and can help you organize your practice time. I set aside 30 minutes of prep time per lesson, which can also be used to transcribe and film tutorials for songs of your choice. Your lessons will be simple and practical, with a healthy mix of technique, knowledge and repertoire, along with the basic music theory you need to get by.
