I am an experienced teacher (10 years) and have taught IGCSE, IB and A-level chemistry courses. My lessons are tailored to meet my students' needs and are varied to maintain students' enthusiasm. I enjoy teaching students of all levels and aim to provide them with challenge and support.
I also help students to manage their time and develop their independent learning skills. I am an enthusiastic teacher dedicated to getting the best from my students, many of whom have gone on to study at some of the best universities in the world.
I will give homework to maximise the benefits of each session and will give thorough feedback on all students' work.

About Me
I am originally from the North of England and was educated in a Grammar School before going onto Oxford University. I worked for 10 years as a manager of global projects in a multinational company before I became a Chemistry teacher.
I led the Chemistry departments in international schools in Brussels and Beijing and have consistently achieved excellent results for my department and pupils.
As the chair of the Royal Society of Chemistry in Beijing I co-founded the RSC's national Chemistry competition (Rising Star China Chemistry Challenge) entered by thousands of students from all over China.
My hobbies include long distance running and DIY projects.
