Oliver
Physics / Science / Mathematics tutor - IGCSE / IB MYP and DP
I am an interactive teacher of 5 years experience in schools. I have been a tutor for 13 years. I have taught physics and astronomy / astrophysics at university and have studied in science, education and science communication. My way of teaching is friendly and open, but clear and direct. I use lots of materials and interactive simulations and conceptual learning where possible. My abilities in education are incredibly strong and online getting better everytime I tutor. Given the previous situation with Covid. Online teaching has become second nature and I am happy to help your learning online. Teaching methodology: In order to teach a student effectively, it cannot simply be a matter of taking notes or going over the same material again and again. Students need time to connect concepts by approaching subjects from many angles. It takes practice and skill to make learning in a classroom interesting. I have been developing those skills over many years and continue to try and do so as I teach and learn myself!

Physics and Mathematics classes for primary, secondary and university students
Hiring this course you will have access to private classes in mathematics, from initial level to differential calculus and resolution of differential equations, and in physics, from initial level to advanced concepts of electromagnetism. The classes and topics are built together with the student, ensuring that they cover relevant topics, and varying the approach until we find what works. Hiring this course you'll have access to math classes, from elementary level to calculus and differential equations, and physics classes, from beginner concepts to advanced electromagnetism. Classes are constructed side by side with the student, in order to cover relevant topics, trying different strategies and focuses until we find what works for you.

Mounir
Excellence Math, Physics, Chemistry - 19 average - New program 2022
Give your child the future he deserves. Graduated from Arts et Métiers ParisTech / 20/20 in mathematics at the Bac / preparatory class / Private teacher for 10 years Do you want to significantly increase your child's mathematical average? Do you want it to integrate a selective course? Do you want it to become autonomous? For 5 years, I have helped more than 30 French students in difficulty from middle school (sixth, fifth, fourth, third) and high school (second, first, final) to achieve their goals (good average, patent, bac, PREPA) and to regain self-confidence. My method in 3 points: - short term, significantly increase the average by assimilating the course and preparing for the next tests (assimilating the course, writing sheets, training in standard exercises, anticipating the teacher's expectations and test questions, having writing methods) - medium term, integrate reasoning and working methods (learn to work regularly in this order: assimilation, training exercise, test preparation and test analysis passes) - long-term, set a goal, build the steps to achieve this goal, become aware of the SIMPLICITY of math, have confidence in your abilities, unlock your potential) The formula: one or two sessions of 1h30/2h per week for the assimilation of the course and to prepare for the test. - Classes on Google Meet - Virtual whiteboard to assimilate faster - Library of 10 books online - More than 1000 exos online Questions ? Contact me and I will answer you.

Physics Problem-Solving: Strategies and Application !
Solving Word Problems in Physics is an essential skill to pass any physics course. In this class we focus on developing those skills. There are strategies for that. It is not a random approach. You can learn it. You will be taught how to translate a bulk of text into meaningful diagrams and variables that can be used to obtain and calculate a physical quantity. You will learn how to use which equation and where. The gap in your mathematical knowledge will be filled to tackle any physics problem.

Matías
Private lessons in math - physics - engineering
I am an aeronautical engineer and I am well aware of the frustration of not achieving the desired academic results. I was here. A lot of times. I find it very satisfying to teach and to see how my students achieve their goals. I sincerely believe that learning is a privilege and a pleasure. It is my top priority that my students feel this. My level of mathematics, physics and engineering is very competent. Although of course, for very specific topics or doubts, I will have to analyze whether I am able to teach lessons with ease or not. Do not hesitate to write to me. I am used to working with people of different ages. I believe in segmentation, visualization of progress, objective results and practice. For students who have difficulty I analyze the root of learning problems. And, above all, I try to motivate them. An ideal lesson time would be distributed as follows: 20 minutes question and answer and start from these gaps, 30 minutes to advance, 10 minutes lateral thinking. Beyond these general lines, there is no rule or magic method. Some things work with some students and not with others. Adapting to needs is really the goal of private lessons. So I will do my best to find what motivates and helps my student.

Christian
Physics tutoring for O, AS & A Levels (Cambridge, Edexcel, GCSE, IGCSE, Boswell, CCVX, IB, etc)
My name is Christian, and I have a masters degree in Chemistry (Biomolecular sciences), and obtained a PhD in developmental Biology. For several years now I have been tutoring students for chemistry, math and physics. And perhaps I can help you too? Although my lessons are given online, the teaching is approached in a personal and lively way. To keep it simple and dynamic I make use of a marker and a whiteboard, and we would have an atmosphere that's in a way comparable to meeting at home. There's many possible reasons for a student to go look for tutoring, and many have different ways of studying. I'm always very involved with the student's goals and progress, and am optimistic and easily approachable in nature. In my experience there's always a safe and motivating atmosphere during the lessons, which works contagiously; understanding of the subject grows, but also a lot of confidence is gained! I'd love to hear from you!

Math/Physics/Chemistry courses given by an experienced teacher and engineer (EN/FR)
An experienced teacher, I tailor my course on the specific needs of my students, so they can reach the desired level in math/physics/chemistry as quickly as possible. My approach is practical, and goal-oriented (examination, certificate, etc.). I give courses to high-school and bachelor level students. I speak French, English, and Dutch. About : An engineer by background ("ingénieur civil"), I have become an education professional with a significant experience teaching math, physics and chemistry both in the classroom (lycée Mater Dei, Woluwé-Saint-Pierre), and outside the classroom. I resolve issues that students have for instance because of pre-existing learning gaps, or difficulties to understand the complex aspects of scientific courses in the classroom.

Group lessons: Math, physics, chemistry, by videoconference - university level
group court Do not hesitate to talk about it in the audience. everyone in front of their PC with Zoom. *************************************************** ****************************************** With me, you will love math. Boss math, I had 100% in math during my primary and secondary. Selected every year for the Belgian Mathematical Olympiad, I also participated in other competitions where I was very well ranked at the national level. For me, there is no secret: practice, practice, practice ... The more you practice, the better you understand, the results will improve and you will love this material that is not so witch My pedagogy is flexible, I adapt to the student. Beyond repeating the classical theory, I explain things differently so that the student can understand better. I also like to accompany the student to do math exercises, so that the student can continue alone after my departure. I am also reachable outside class hours if you have a question.

Private tutoring in maths, physics, homework help (French/English)
After completing my high school diploma with honors (19.5/20), I did 2 years of "Classes préparatoires aux Grandes Écoles", where my ranking after the national exam allowed me to get into the Institute of Optics Graduate School in Paris, one of the top engineering schools in France. After doing a gap year internship at ASML, I am now finishing my master's by doing a double degree in applied physics at the TU Delft. I have a lot of experience in teaching and helping with homework in maths, physics and chemistry (middle and high school). In France, I have followed students for two years and helped them to improve their grades. I can also help students in their bachelor (don't hesitate to contact me for more information). My experience in different institutions has not only allowed me to master technical scientific subjects but also taught me how to work efficiently, be organised and give my best, which are essential skills for academic and life success. I adapt myself to each student, his or her level, and provide effective methods and motivation. I am very open and friendly by nature, my students have always liked me a lot and I am also available for them (phone or message) at any time!
