About Me
Hi there !I am Camille and I come from France. Hard to define oneself in just a few line, isn't it ? I could maybe sum up my main interests in life with three words : languages, music, travelling.
I like exploring the wide range of possibilities when it comes to human expression. To me, languages are one of them. So I developed my knowledge in that field, putting a stress on mastering my own mother tongue and English. Music and arts are also, to me, another type of human expression which is as significant as words. Sometime even more !
Having studied English for three years and music for seven years, I have built up my experience around these two subjects as a teacher, a tutor and a facilitator. I have naturally been passionate with English and music since I was a child and then developed strong techniques in order to self-taught myself in a first place. To widen my practice and to strengthen my skills, I studied both subjects at a university for English, and in a conservatoire and a National School of Music to improve my theoretical knowledge of music as well as my practice in singing and as a composer and a guitarist.
While studying I was teaching music or giving private lessons of English and French. I was also part of numerous musical project as a singer, guitarist and composer. Travelling helped me improving my English and helped me discovering the passion I have to share my mother tongue to others.
This class will be built up around :
* A warm Up during which we will get the body ready for singing : release body tensions, taking conscious of our tools of articulation (mouth, jaw, tongue ...), work on the enounciation of sounds, deevelop the resonance of your voice, master your air flow ....
* Work on a musical piece of your choice paying attention to the techniques you could use and your own interpretation of the song. We can also progressively build up a repertoire that correspond to what you would like.
I have experience both as a performer and a teacher. I have been studying singing for 7 years in a conservatory and in a National School of Music in France. I provided private lessons for 5 years while improving my skills too. I have been part of several projects such as choirs, a metal band, a rock opera, pop and jazz projects, covering songs from the baroque, the classical and the renaissance periods to the music of today.
Singing is an exploration of yourself. I will just be here to guide you to let you improve, discover and unhinge your own voice.
